Pros: detail is better than most, looks great baby loves it going round, wheels move etc. Cons: as others said it’s bigger than you expect, and you need a lot of space round a tree to make it go round the bottom of a Christmas tree but that dims are available. Also would be nice if have a volume control, or way for it to move without train audio, it’s a sensory event for sure. Despite cons we love it and would recommend.

Wonderful sound effects! Warning! Needs 6 C batteries and some double a’s for the remote. Had to run around looking for the batteries before we could use. But well worth it

Expensive, but I think it's the only legit Polar Express train set available, and the kids love Polar Express; what can you do? The track you get with the train makes a small oval shape, and is pretty easy to fit together. Slightly easier than Lego, but harder than Trackmaster stuff. The bell that comes with the train is really bad, we've had cat toys which resembled a bell better than this one, which is a real shame. It just kind of rattles around. The train itself is pretty well made, stays on the track, and can go forwards and backwards; as well as playing sound clips from the film, a nice chug chug sound, and steaming sound when it's stationary. Overall, giving it four stars. It's really expensive and the bell is awful, but the kids really love it

This trainset is fantastic and much larger than I anticipated but this a nice surprise. With most train sets nowadays it would benefit from extra straight track as what comes in the pack is a very small oval considering the size of the loco. However this is a fantastic train set and I guaranteed hit as a gift!
