This yogurt has it all - and for half the price of the others I've looked at! When it first arrived, I thought the instruction manual must be missing: it was just a folded up sheet! I thought there had to be more that was missing, but this little machine is so easy to use; after pouring (UNHEATED!) milk and up to 1 tsp of the packaged culture(not included) into the provided metal canister, you put on the cover and plug it in. Voila! 12 hrs later, you have perfect yogurt. I tried mine with grass-fed whole milk and it was so rich and creamy I didn't need to strain it. I also made soy milk yogurt using West Life organic soy milk, 1 tsp of powdered culture, and 12 hrs later - rich, creamy soy yogurt! I was worried that incubating for 12 hrs would produce a very sour yogurt, but the taste was mild and creamy, with just a slight tanginess to it. This JoyMech yogurt maker is the perfect size for one person - the container holds about 3 1/2 cups of milk. It would definitely be too small for a family of 3 or 4, but for me, a container lasts me about 3 days if I eat the yogurt every day for 1 meal. The metal container is easy to pop into the dishwasher, and, best of all, unlike the Bear yogurt maker that I finally gave up on because of its breakable glass container, the JoyMech metal container is very easy to remove with no possible breakage.

Muy buen producto, fáfil de usar, viene con un instructivo claro y con algunas recetas para diferentes tipos de yogurth, como con leche de coco, o yogurth griego, etc.

Very light appliance and the build seems very cheap. However, that is just the first impression I have. I wasn't able to use it since it is rated for 110V grids, and that hasn't been stated anywhere. Yet the product is shipped all around the world. Again, haven't use the product, but the plastic and being very light does not look like high quality product.

This little gem delivers a consistently perfect result every time. I love it! I used to live in the AZ desert and I would put a large yoghurt container full of whole milk on top of the refrigerator and each time it produced a fermented milk goo that was never the same twice and not very good. When I moved to WA and the weather was very inclement often, I knew that wasn't going to work. This little Yoghurt Maker was perfect for my budget, even with the screen to make a Greek style yoghurt. After using it for awhile I found that if I used Half & Half and Fage Yoghurt as a "starter"(it uses a Bulgarian culture which creates a thick end yoghurt) I didn't have to take the extra step of straining. To my delight I got a yoghurt more like Sour Cream. If I let it ferment just a little longer I got something quite like Cream Cheese which was lovely to spread on bread/toast/bagels.
