What's the difference between this and the freeze dried brine shrimp without spirulina? Is one better than the other?

2nd response I ordered from Amazon by Ocean Nutrition a a 1.2 oz spirulina flake and my Tetra tank seems to love it. I would not recommend the Brine shrimp as it brakes down to a fine powder and is sucked almost instantly into the canister filter in my 20 Gallon tank. I have had better luck with that companies Daphnie and blood worms.

I like to put it in drie because my fish eat it from the top but when I soaked it or tapped it down it would sink .. or when its floating the bubbles will break the surface tension and let them sink. They usually sink slow enough for the fish to eat them before they hit the bottom

What is the biggest difference (nutritional) between this and the Hikari Spirunlina Brine Shrimp Cubes? I want to buy the best one.

I have jars of both the Hikari regular and spirulina version. I had purchased the regular before I found the spirulina. The only real difference I can tell is that one has spirulina. They both contain min 5.5%crude fat, max .5 crude fiber, max 6 moisture, and min .1% phosphorous. The spirulina version has min 48% crude protein, where the regular has min 47%.. So there might be a small difference in protein.The ingredients for both contain brine shrimp, Vitamin E, C, B1, B2, B6, B12, but the spirilina version of course has spirulina. In my opinion, the spirulina version offers more - extra green nutrients for your aquatic friends.

Well, I think my fishes should be the one to write this review, and if they were, I'm pretty sure they would have written how much they love this product, and just how fast they finish the food. I'm feeding hikari blood worms, hikari tubiflex, and hikari brine shrimps for about 4 weeks now. I keep changing their food. Who likes daal chawal for life??? 😂 Anyway, I'll tell you the result and let that speak for itself. My fish are getting healthier by day and more vibrant in their colors, the food doesn't produce high levels/ spikes of ammonia in water. So, I don't have to stress over feeding time. But it's always a good idea to remove excess food after 10-15 minutes and I do that. The three hikari products together cost me close to Rs. 4500/-, and seems pretty steep. But I'm happy to see my fish happy and healthy. It's totally worth it. P.S. Hikari tubiflex is costliest. And my fishes eat those from my hand like spoiled pampered brats. May be they are. 😂
