The AFA Tooling Deburring tool does exactly what it is supposed to do and is very easy to use once you get the hang of it, how much pressure to apply etc. I would say the metal body is a must with a tool like this as you will often need to exert a fair amount of pressure and a plastic body tool would very soon break under the strain. The AFA tool is also great value for money as it comes with a pack of 10 spare blades. I have only used it on plastic so far but I am pretty confident it will work on metal too. All in all I would definitely recommend it.

This is a quality item, with good quality materials and design. Takes some practice to use (eg for cleaning up 3D prints etc etc). Spare blades useful. Comes in rugged 'zip lock' type back. A box or wallet might be easier/better, but its still useful.

Absolute game changer for me, I actually cannot believe I've been 3D printing for so many years without knowing how useful these are. Perfect for cleaning up the edges of your prints, whether it's a brim, a little bit of elephants foot or just random little imperfections along the edges. Really appreciate the extra blades that come with this but I've already used the initial blade a bunch and it doesn't seem to have dulled at all from just plastic. Very happy.

Brought this for my 3d printing - super easy to use and it is very strong and I’m very happy it includes lots of blades. I use this purely to remove brim and was a decent price too it will definitely last for many years

What a great little tool! I’m amazed at how well it works....I’ve been using it to debur the edges of holes drilled in steel and steel turned on the lathe....it cuts the steel as if it was a chisel through wood! I’ve also tried it on aluminium and cleaning up/putting a small chamfer on the edge of acrylic/polycarbonate.....it’s excellent! It takes a couple of practices to get the motion right and to realise that you don’t have to press hard either. Personally, for holes I think this does its job better than the usual countersink type debur as the action of this is to cut the material whereas the countersink essentially grinds....so you get a much cleaner edge with this. This tool is a new discovery for me and I’m very impressed.

This works well on steel, alu, brass and generous supply of spare blades.

Used these a ton as a millwright, some are nicer than others based on cost, but for the cost of this one, and using it on plastic, I'm happy. Comes with a ton of bits (like 20 of them) which normally cost a few bucks each this pays for itself very fast. Now will these bits/tips clean up tungsten and carbide, probably not, but for the softer metals and plastic, they work great. Most of my reviews are higher rated because I base what I purchase off of what I need, price, and quality, and not that I purchased the wrong item, or didn't read. I didn't have to reach out to the seller or the vendor, but I would not hesitate to purchase this product again, from either.

I got this for smoothing down snag points on 3D prints, and for cleaning up rough edges when things need to print with a brim, and it has been PERFECT for it! It's easy to hold and control, easy to switch out the tips, the blades are nice and sharp. Just overall a great tool!

Un poco decepcionado con el package, pues por el precio esperaba una cajita o algo, pero bueno, lo importante es la herramienta que parece de muy buena calidad. La he probado, funciona perfectamente y parece muy solida y teniendo en cuenta que la usare para retocar impresiones en pla creo que me durara toda la vida. Buena compra, la recomiendo.

I ordered this deburring tool to use with 3d print clean-up. i worked in plastic injection molding for a while & I remember how cut up my hands were after trimming plastic all day with an exacto knife so wanted to try this instead. Boy, do I wish I knew these existed back in the day. The tool comes well packaged with the tool, a manual, a lifetime warranty card & extra blades in a handy little container. The tool fits well in my hand & it trims the parts smoothly & much more efficiently than a knife. The blades are way sharper thank I expected & yet it's almost impossible to gauge any ugly chunks into the part. I submitted for the lifetime warranty but I doubt I'll ever need it. If you're like me & shop around reading all the reviews to make sure you get the best product & fair price, just stop here & order this one. You won't be disappointed.
