Ok so start by saying absolutly love this combo kit, accuracy no problem ph meter always stayed true to callibration were my other higher brand ph meters drifted no names but lets just say theres really about 5 brand names in ph meter business in my opinion this ol gal put them all to shame, sadly one day went to use her and notta, batteries were goodish replacedthem notta, was contenplating purchasing nother identival when seen it had 1yr warranty well as we all know amazons really goood at taking our pay and hiding most any helpful links on there sight so i posted an overtop review to get sellers attention and it worked thankfully amazon needs a easier way to access warranty stuff instead of telling you not our prob get up with seller yourself, well some may know exactly how, i didnt but seller was awesome and is sending me a new ph meter for price plus 1yr warranty really hard to justify spending 100 or more for lesser product. this thing is king in my book and i have bout 7 other ph meters, also the ppm ec meter is as good as my others to can set it to 500 xcale or 700 scale none others have that.

These are awesome. The instructions make it very easy to operate, and these came with extra batteries, which was a nice touch. The readings are very accurate, and explains how you can calibrate each meter. They came in a nice box, which doubles as a case. I very much recommend these, they are very accurate & well made.

Not only did it come with spare batteries and a very stout box for storage, it also can with 6 Ph calibration sachets. The Ec meter can display in 4 scales including EC, 500ppm and 700ppm. This is a huge plus. The Ph pen also had a great feature…. It can do a 3 point calibration, which is usually a feature on much more expensive testers. That makes it more accurate across a wide range, unlike a single point calibration that is most accurate only at the calibration value. Also the build quality is very stout. I’ll update this review after some long term use, but I’m very happy with my initial impressions.

The PPH meter works just fine. However, the pH meter does not work. I was unable to calibrate it following the directions with the included packets for low, neutral, and high pH calibration. The meter would only read out 4.0 for all three solutions! It would not reset to try again. It did it again! This is not the first pH meter I have had, but it is the worst. Other folks may be luckier and receive one that works and works well, but I am unwilling to gamble on being dealt another lemon from this company.

It was easy to calibrate the Ph Metter, but what was weird to me that after the calibration the Metter never went back to zero,so I re-did the calibration a second time to make sure I did it right. A couple of pointers is to save your calibration salutation so you can double check what is going on and to reassure yourself that it is really working. The meter is so sensitive that I thought it wasn't working right because the numbers can bounce around a bit outside the solution that you are reading. The EC meter is easy-to-use just out of the box. I did replace the batteries in both right away.
