There are some that are longer and plastic, and are great at pinpointing certain places (such as the tip of the tongue) and making it vibrate. It came ready to use, after simply putting in the battery that was included. It has 4 different vibration settings that are easily changed by pressing the button with the light. The attachments are easily out on, you push the attachment inc and twist it to lock it in. It is secure, but simple for an adult to change out.
