A: Yes. I do my instant oatmeal in the bowl in my microwave every morning.

**Q: Are the bowls big enough for a full can of chili/soup?**
A: I would say yes to a can of 12 oz. Or so (a regular can of chili).

**Q: To what temperature are they oven safe?**
A: I have not used them in the oven yet even though it says oven safe

Second time buying making it an 8 piece set. The quality is amazing the color is vibrant (bought the blue and white) we are going for a Spanish theme and this fit perfectly.
