The Art Of Shaving Pre Shave Oil - Unscented (For Sensitive Skin) 60ml

The Art of Shaving system is inexplicably unavailable in the UK except through resellers, even though it is Gillette's premium shaving brand. This stuff is truly excellent - all of it. If you travel to the US buy a full set and then top-up using these resellers. The products last for ages (e.g. 10+ months for the shaving cream) and so are actually as cheap as the cheap products you can buy. Use sparingly and you will get 3+ months out of this tiny bottle of oil.

I changed from proraso to The art of shaving unscented products, I use a de razor because of medication my skin was breaking out badly. Keep face and hand wet, only 2 or 3 squirts from the bottle and massage into beard. As for the other review I totally disagree, those products he mentioned are nowhere near as good as The art of shaving products.

Great product. Leaves the face feeling smooth and hydrated. Yes it is thick but that really isn't a problem.

This is an excellent product which helps to give a smooth and quick wet shave. A little goes a long way so it is cost efficient too. One star lost only because it leaves the hand basin a little oily.

I was disappointed with this product for the price I expected a good quality product this is inferior to cheaper products for example king of shaves or Real shaving company

This product really does smooth out a close shave. I use a high quality shaving cream that reduces skin irritation, and adding a pre shave oil noticeably enhances the experience. It is priced substantially lower than similar products too.

I must say that I am very suprised with the quality and results achieved using this product with my straight razor for a shave. EVERY shave is close and nick free, with my beard that is something! I am fairly new to using oils on my face when shaving and now wonder how I ever went without using a product like this before for so long. I've tried a couple of other brands, some cheaper, some more expensive. They should call this the 'Goldilocks' pre-shave oil; It's just right! I've always been a victim of razor rash and facial bumps after shaving and I get none of that now. The oil itself is fairly thick and while AOS claims it to be unscented I can detect a hint of clove. The product holds up during the shaving process and helps provide superior blade glide. Many folks here (as you read through the reviews) complain of the price. I don't know about them but a really close shave w/o bumps or rash afterwards and a baby soft face make both me and my wife happy. Let's face it, 'Momma' being happy and a quality product with the results I'm looking for in a shave, for me make the price point worth it.
