I bought it to suck fluids out of my brake and power steering reservoir on my truck and it did the job.

1 star so far as I did not receive any tubing… just a J shaped metal tube that don’t fit on the pump or filter! I currently reordered… maybe it got missed in the packing… but the metal tube does not fit the pump ;/… I really wanted to use it tomorrow :(UPDATE… my item got reordered… and came with the tubing… BEST LITTLE PUMP EVER! Great for racking wine! Love it!

I've bought two of these and both failed after the first use. The first time I blamed myself for not immediately cleaning it out so I was extra careful the second time. Just tried to use it again and it was acting just like the first one (where you can hear the motor but it isn't pulling any fluid). Long story short, it's great if you need it just once.

My basement had standing water for a recent heavy rain. I used the device to such and move the water to the pump. It worked great. I'm so glad I remembered that I purchased the device.

I’ve only used it a few times so I can’t speak of the longevity of it. I bought it specifically to hook up to a water cooling vest and it works awesome for that. Moves much more water than a fountain pump of the same voltage. And all the people complaining about the tubes. It’s surgical tubing and that stuff isn’t cheap. If you don’t like it switch it out for regular fish tubing. I did and it was slightly larger than the fittings however if you cut a cheap plastic pen into pieces you can make really good fittings for it dirt cheap. Found that out after spending way too much money at Home Depot for fittings. Only real complaint is the on off switch should be sealed. I can imagine water getting in there and messing up the connector.

This little pump works good for a few weeks got last November stop working 6 weeks after so it's not worth the price probably made in china at over $50. It should of last at least a year do don't waste your money on that garbage

I can now decant my wine with absolutely no disturbance of the sediment, absolutely perfect. It doesn’t start sucking in air until all the wine has gone.
