After accidentally damaging my lawn by double spraying the same clump of weeds twice. My neighbor pointed out the spray dye he uses, No more double spraying by accident, I can now see where I have already sprayed. 1/2 oz to a gallon, this will go a long way and stop to horrible dead spots in the middle of my lawn.I also have a large triangle lot that is hard not have missed spots when fertilizing because of the angles. I am now going to use liquid fertilizer with the dye for an even coverage each time.Easily wash off in the first watering.

This is a great product. Yes, you will be able to see where you have sprayed. This keeps you from going over the same area twice, which is wasteful and can damage your lawn. If you make two passes, you are doubling the rate, which can kill your grass Herbicides that are safe for you lawn are not safe if you use too much.Many reviewers have talked about the messiness of this product. Yes, it is messy, so be very careful. Even if you are careful, I think it’s safe to say some of the dye will go where you don’t want it to. Mix it over a sheet of plastic. As one reviewer wrote, it IS a dye, a very strong dye. I wore double latex gloves and had no problem. You can rinse the dye off your sprayer, measuring container, etc., with a garden hose.I recommend you work in the same area before moving on because it’s much easier to see the dye while it’s wet. Green dye worked fine, but blue might show up even better.ADDED NOTE: The second time I used this dye I had a GREEN DOG! Yes, really, but no harm was done. The day after I used it I gave my golden retriever a bath. After a bath, she wants to roll in the grass. After she rolled, as I went to rinse her, I said Holy Moley!--I got a green dog. It was alarming because it's a lawn chemical with ingredients not known to me, and she had a green streak on her face, not far from her eye. The good thing was I quickly discovered I could rinse the green dye away with water (and her eye tightly covered with my hand). It easily rinsed completely away. Now truthfully, my dear dog was not totally green, just a few stripes in her coat. The dye had dried for 24 hours + . I feel sure this would not have happened had she not been wet. This is a certified true story. Don't let your dog go green!This dye is very strong, but you can easily rinse it off with water. Fabrics--pretty sure you don't want to try that. The bottle was a mess after I used, with drips of dye down the side, but I was able to easily rinse it off. If the dye soaks into your skin it will be there for a while--but rinse what you can. Be smart; wear latex-type gloves. If it soaks into your pants or shirt, you'll probably want to buy a new pair of pants or a new shirt.

I bought green, but when I purchase again, I will buy the blue so I can see the sprayed area better. Small package but product is highly concentrated so only a small amount is required. I recommend wearing disposable rubber gloves when handling.

Picked this up on Amazon because they were out of the usual blue I purchase from the local hardware stores. Exceeded my expectations, found out that a little went a long way. Luckily it dissolved from the gravel and even driveway within a week.

I have a very large yard, and it was crucial to not double spray areas with the product i was using. I could see exactly where I sprayed by adding this dye.

This stuff is super concentrated, a little goes a long way. I use it when I spray weeds to mark the areas I have sprayed. Just make sure you wear gloves or your hands will be green.

Bottle upon opening spewed out when opening all over when foil seal was removed at room temp. Blue dye. OMG what a mess to clean up. Thanks alot.

Works great. Don't add too much and be careful not to spill. Wear gloves. This concentration will stain hands and concrete if spilled. I put a grocery bag between the container and cap to act as a gasket because this does drip through the cap unfortunately. Still an amazing product. Didn't realize how many weeds I was missing until using this.
