I needed several 4" straps to fasten my rail cap to my deck railing, and after pricing the ready-made straps, decided to make my own. I had no problem working with the aluminum and even after drilling four holes in each strap, the bars remained strong and ridged.

It's metal, it's rectangular, there's 6 of them. Nuff said. Great deal for small volume and hobby shops.

Dang good aluminum, for an Amazon buy. Being extruded, they aren't the most square. Though that's to be expected. I haven't seen any porosity and my parts are all great. Any bad parts are my fault. I trimmed mine down on the band saw at my work. Haven't made any big parts from a whole block yet.

Clean cut & priced cheap.

These are a good value for how many you get compared to other options on Amazon. These are extruded (not sheared like some other) so you get a nice square edge. The surface is a little rougher than I’m used to or wanted but they machined fine and worked for some fixturing we were making. A better extruded surface would have gotten 5 stars.
