I have the MTHFR gene mutation and after doing some serious research, I landed on needing a methylfolate. I kept putting off ordering it though. At the same time I was struggling with hundreds of lie-bumps covering my tongue for more than a year. I tried everything I could on planet earth to get rid of them. While deep in research on MTHFR one day I found one tiny sentence that referenced a patient who too had them and they were resolved after taking methylfolate. I could not have been more shocked reading that. They ruin your life. They are so painful, you can't even eat pain-free. I was constantly bitting them to try to relieve some of the pain. Nothing helped. After deciding to try this for 6 months I can say I am a much happier, less depressed and 100% lie-bump free. I use auto-ship just to make sure I don't run out. Did the genetic testing for my son and learned he has the gene variant that makes it difficult to absorb folic acid. I was hesitant to start him on the higher doses of l methyl folate because he has a tendency to have side effects from medicine. So we decided to try the 2.5 and build up from there if needed. After the first day, he started to notice a decrease in ADHD symptoms. Seriously, the first day! After a week his mood has improved, he has energy, and he’s more focused than I’ve ever seen him. He’s up to 5 mg now with no side effects, so I just ordered a bottle of 7.5 and will start that dose next week. As a parent, the thought that a vitamin can make this much difference just amazes me. I’m so grateful we found this!

this product was suggested by a doctor when, through DNA testing, it was determined that my daughter was having difficulty processing her medications. this has helped tremendously so her dosages did not have to be increased.

fair price for the product, but there were 2 empty & crushed capsules in my first bottle - hopefully my next bottle actually contains 30 caps

My favorite but not carried by Amazon any more. So sad. Small capsule. Easy to tolerate and was on auto fill. Now I am relegated to a jumbo pill. Dk why!
