Doesn't stay on one's head. area to go on chin is rough with sewn seam. If you reverse it area that touches chin is better but you have the sewn area of the straps touching your face. Not comfortable

The chin strap was fairly effective but most of the strap was Velcro, which made it difficult to open (it was hard to pull apart) and it was also hard to get the Velcro halves to line up perfectly so that it wasn't scratchy. It is impossible to line up the strap while it is on your head without getting your hair caught up in it, so I had to put the strap together at the (hopefully) proper length then put the chin part in place and slide the Velcro strap in place on top of my head. It was just an annoying design and could have been so much better if you didn't have all of that stiff Velcro fabric rubbing. The chin portion was actually very comfortable. I finally cut about half of the "hook" side of the Velcro off and that helped, but there just has to be a better way. The strap also just didn't launder as well as I would have liked.

This is a great chin strap. While sleeping I am a nose breather and I sleep with a CPAP machine. Lately, I've noticed that my mouth comes open while I'm sleeping and I am waking up to my mouth and throat being bone dry. This chin strap has worked great keeping my mouth closed. I no longer wake up in the middle of the night with a bone-dry mouth. It is very comfortable to wear and easy to adjust. I am so glad I bought it. If you're a nose breather while sleeping or a person who snores, and you're having issues with waking up with a dry mouth and throat due to your mouth coming open, I highly recommend this chin strap.

This strap works for me as it keeps my mouth shut at night. But it is cheaply made and won't last more than a month or two. After a month of use the stitching is unraveling and soon the velcro will unravel, come apart and become useless. I can see why they offer two for just a few dollars more than one. When the package arrived, there was just a clear bag with the strap inside. No label, information, nothing. I thought that was odd. But, it did make me wonder if this product is made in some sweat shop in a poor country. I find it puzzling why some folks rate this product so highly. Occasionally the thin, single head strap will slip off my head during the night. The cheap materials and poor construction are very disappointing. I am going to need a new strap soon and I don't anticipate I'll buy another of these.

I have tried other variations of straps to keep my jaw closed. (I sleep on my back due to back problems. It’s also my preference.) The single strap design is the only one that works. For me, anyways. This one works. It’s simple. The only other one that works, that I have tried, bleeds all over my pillow, leaving me with a blue pillow, that does, in all fairness, does wash out. I have had no problems with this strap. It has lasted me for over a year so far. I bought another one to put in my “man cave” so I can take naps in there. Btw, I use a mouthguatd as I grind my teeth in my sleep, apparently, Enjoy!

I received this mess yesterday, and immediately felt it ripping my hair out. Horrible design in that the adjustable straps across the top of your head have velcro at the bottom where you just slide the two straps to fit your head. Putting it on or moving it causes the velcro to rip your hair out. I'm back looking for a new chin strap. I had one before (that I can't find, and haven't needed to use for years) that was all fabric, and had an adjustable piece at the top, much like my mask, where you just pill the one side through the little plastic piece. That's what I'm trying to find now. Thus thing is ridiculous. You get what you pay for.

I’ve tried many chin straps over the past 7–8 years and this is by far the best. It stays snug without constant adjusting, is gentle on the skin, wicks moisture well, and doesn’t cause odor or require frequent washing.
