Colors: A Board Book (Pantone)

I love this book! My son has a learning disability and loves colours, I wanted to get him a book that was fairly basic but not babyish, and this book is perfect! It also has thick pages, like a board book but, again, without that babyish feel to it. Each page has a colour and then shows lots of different variations of that colour - I doubt there will be many people looking to buy this book for the same reasons as me (i.e a colour loving 14 year old boy with special needs) but it is still a lovely book for any child. It is sturdy enough to last a long time (hopefully) and is refreshingly different from all the other books about colours that I looked at. :)

Great book to help children understand the concept of color. My son brought it to preschool and the teachers said it was a big hit with the children, they loved it. My oldest child likes to read the names of colors and we pick our favorites or try to find objects in the room to match the colors in the book. Great book!!!

The design of this book is amazing. So stylish and "mature" that it would be great as a coffee table book. The descriptions for each color are really fun and we like to pick our favourites and make up new descriptions for some shades. It's a simple concept but a BEAUTIFUL book. We can't recommend it enough.

A lovely book to use and share with children about colouring mixing and shades of colours. Our children love it.

Short but beautiful book if you are into design and color, nicely printed. My 18 months son loves the colorful illustrations, and hopefully I can teach him all the colors in the future.

very cute book with bright colours and a lovely embossed cover. perfect gift for the child of design loving parents! My only gripe with this book is that they have gone to the effort of changing the spelling of "Colors" to "Colours" for this British english version of the book, but the American spelling of "gray" instead of "grey" remains in the book. Other than that a lovely book with crisp colours and illustrations.

This is a lovely book and good for introducing children to colours. Nice thick pages and appears to be quite robust. It would be nice to have a few more illustrations to make it a little more engaging for children.

Such a great book! Wish my boys had had this when younger, though they would enjoy the creative colour shade names now they are older. Wipe-clean board book, easy for little hands to hold. So different from other colour books.

Très belles pages, qualité super, et parfait pour apprendre plein de nuances de couleurs !! Mon fils de 2 ans et demi l'adore !

Si te gustan esos libros bonitos, este es uno que debes comprar. Es un libro "simplemente" de colores, pero con una enoooorme gama de colores a partir de cada ejemplo. Tiene 9 páginas dobles, en la derecha está el color principal y en la izquierda las distintas tonalidades (con su Pantone, claro) a partir de ese. A mi hijo (2.5 años) le encanta desde hace algo así como un año... y óbviamente que sea en inglés no es ni un pro ni una contra, al tratarse de un libro sobre colores :)
