Its cable and it does what cables are supposed to do, it carrys electrons. As it is called 'speaker wire', I felt compelled to use it as speaker wire. I would highly recommend this speaker wire for use on speakers.

Hardly any copper wire inside. Maybe 4 strands. Poor quality
