Review: Brilliant bit of kit! - Looks brilliant with my Wooting keyboard, allows me to use the same keycaps and the switches still sound very nice! The Glorious software is a bit confusing but once it’s set up it’s straight forward. Quality is very good. I’m used to 100% keyboards and have just changed to an 80%, but needed a numpad on the side for work.
Review: Avoid This Product!!!! - Poor software and an underwhelming typing experience - I had high expectations for the GMMK Numpad, but unfortunately I ended up returning it. The build quality is OK, but it does not feel particularly impressive for the price, and the typing experience is disappointing. The keys sound rather naff and lack the satisfying sound and feel I was expecting from a premium mechanical product. My biggest issue, however, was the Glorious CORE software and the programmable controls. The rotary knob and slider are two of the main features of this product, yet I found the software incredibly confusing and frustrating to use. By default, turning the rotary knob controlled Windows volume. However, as soon as I tried to customise what happened when pressing the knob, the rotary volume control stopped working. Attempting to customise one function of the knob effectively broke another. The knob press itself also behaved strangely, with mine opening Windows Calculator by default. Even after performing a factory reset, it continued to open Calculator. I also could not find a way to independently configure what happened when turning the knob clockwise and anticlockwise. Despite the product being marketed around customisation and programmable controls, I could not get the level of control I expected over the rotary knob. The slider was equally disappointing. I could not seem to successfully program it to do anything useful at all. Again, this is a major programmable feature of the device, yet the software gave me no confidence that my mappings were being applied correctly. I tried factory resetting the device and troubleshooting the software, but the Calculator mapping persisted and changing the knob press continued to interfere with the volume functionality. Glorious states that the device is QMK compatible, and using QMK may potentially solve some of the issues I experienced by allowing much deeper customisation. However, that introduces another layer of complication that simply should not be necessary. I should not need to flash alternative firmware and learn another configuration system just to reliably customise the main programmable controls of the device. The Glorious CORE software should be capable of handling this properly. Overall, the hardware is merely OK, the typing experience and sound are underwhelming, and the software is absolutely terrible. The rotary knob and slider are some of the main reasons to buy this product, but I could not reliably configure either of them through the manufacturer's own software. For the price, I expected a much better typing experience and far more reliable software. I ultimately returned it because the product felt unfinished and not fit for purpose.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Great Numpad, terrible software!

Great feeling keys, quiet and the rgb is nice. The glorious software is absolutely useless though, even in their new version of glorious core. I still can't use it wirelessly or map the slider and dial. There's ways round it but you shouldn't have to considering the price!
