Great
Use a plunge router to avoid damaging the edges of the template. Ive made several signs now with no issues. The included bushing worked properly on my 20v Dewalt trim router with the add-on plunge base. Beware: The original fixed base does not allow use of the template bushing.

Not worth it.
Made of a cheap plastic , some of the letters outlines move while you're routering them, especially the "s". Definetly too much money and if i hadn't already used it i would have returned it ! Not happy with this purchase.

Work great once you get the hang of it.
These work great once you get the hang of it. Unfortunately, you ruin a few templates getting the hang of it, so practice using one of the templates you will most likely never use. A trim router with a plunge base would probably work best. I wish the plastic was sturdier, and would be willing to pay more for something that doesn't get chewed up so easily. I also wish all of the letters had notches at the top and bottom center, which would make vertical signs easier to create. However, these help me make trail signs for the 53 mile Batona trail in New Jersey, and were worth every penny I paid (see attached photo).

Pay attention to size!
I got the 3/8" thinking I could use the set for anything from 1/4" to 1/2". Only works well with 3/8" as 1/2" will not clear bushing and letter spacing for 1/4" bit is too wide for effective sign. Still, the set works very well with moderate set up times and fairly clear instructions. I'd buy again, as it is a very good template for signs.

Works great for sign making!
I used this to make a custom sign for our mailbox post. I used it with my DeWalt 20V router with plunge base. You NEED to have a plunge base to use it most effectively. Make sure that you get into all of the crevices and corners when tracing the letters/numbers - it's difficult to redo missed spots once the templates are removed from the wood.
