Monster High: 13 Wishes

I have two nieces who are Monster High mad and have just under 30 Monster High dolls and playsets at my house for them to play with when they visit along with tons more that I have bought them over the last few years (for at their own homes) and so I am no stranger to the world of Monster High. The movie is all about Howleen wolf finding an ancient lamp which just happens to contain Gigi Grant, the genie of the lamp inside. The finder of the lamp is entitled to 13 wishes and Gigi warns Howleen to use them wisely and not for selfish or dark purposes. Unbeknownst to Howleen and her friends, Gigi has a dark twin called Whisp who wishes to escape the lamp and become a real person like her sister Gigi but Whisp has become evil over time and has nothing but bad intentions planned for Howleen and her friends. Howleen is desperate to be popular like her big sister and Whisp preys on this fragility. If Howleen makes too many wrong or selfish wishes then Whisp will increase control over her and eventually manage to escape the lamp and trap all of her school inside the lamp forever. Working out what is happening, her sister Clawdeen and her friends Frankie, Draculaura, Abbey and Ghoulia set out to rescue Howleen from Whips control. Can the friends triumph over evil and save Howleen and their school?............ A really good Monster High movie which teaches friendship, trust, doing the right thing and adversity over the odds. The film advises it is PEGI7 but my three year old is fascinated with the Monster High girls from watching my nieces with them over the last few years and he has now watched the film a few times. There all mild scary elements in it such as the dung beetle scene and when Whisp is throwing a wobbly but other than that I wouldn't say there was anything really unsuitable in there for a younger viewer unless they are a bit sensitive to monsters. A brilliant film for any Monster High fan and not too bad to have to watch as an adult either! The film runs for approx 1h 10mins and has some bonus features of 3 shorts and a peek at Ever After High which I don't think was out when the film was initially released.

The film was actually for my seven year old daughter who is a big monster high fan. She loved it and has watched it many times. I preordered it and got a very good price, the Same price as a dvd for a blue ray. Unfortunately I ordered other items at the same time and Had to wait a month to get them. Received it on the day of release which was excellent as we Live in France and I ordered from amazon uk.

I bought this for my 8 year old grand daughter. It arrived in time for us to take it on our half term holiday in Wales where 3 adults were blitzed continuously with Monster High for the whole week. Her mother had ordered her a copy too and despite ordering it far earlier than I did it did not arrive for another 2 weeks. Now it languishes unopened because 8 year olds move on. However I am sure its time will come again as this is also a pattern they follow

My daughter is 5 and has just started to get into all things monsters high so father Xmas got her some DVDs they are of good quality and the story lines are good and age appropriate some hidden morals about treating everyone the same etc so would recommend.

This was a prompt delivery. My little girl was overwhelmed that the DVD was delivered so quick. It was packaged well. The price of the DVD was a good price as there are so many monster high dvds to buy. My child got it in her DVD player straight away, we watched it together the story line was easy for her to follow. The DVD was a good quality picture.

i bought this for my 5yr olds birthday in december its a brilliant film best one that monster high has brought out very good story to it even my 27 year old fiance was into it haha great film for monster high fans

We originally got this movie out at the library and my daughter watched it over and over for a couple weeks. I decided she liked it enough that we should buy it. Definitely my 6 year olds favourite monster high movie.

notre fille est fan du dernier monster high et le regarde même plusieurs fois d'affiler , la qualité des images est impeccable grâce à la qualité blu-ray elle adore toute les poupées tiré de ce film je recommande sans hésiter
