It works fine, and I can finally work in dim light; however, the 2nd 'speed' could have been brighter. The arm is flexible, yet firm.

This is a great little light. I like that it is dimmable. It can be turned off without unplugging it. It is long enough that it can be bent over in order to light up the entire keyboard. A second smaller light came with this one that I don't use. It is smaller and cannot be switched off. I may try it out some time. Good price.

There are 3 light settings; bright, brighter, and off. Plug into USB drive & it’s ready. I often use my laptop in the living room, with & without an overhead light on. This piece is bright enough to brighten my work area with/without the overhead. I love it & don’t know how I lived without it! Value for money: Very bright & cheap. Would recommend to anyone Durability: ive used it for several months already and still like the first day I opened it. It’s also adjustable & stable. Touch control: Buttons are good & solid. Won’t break if you press too hard. I’ve also dropped it and no harm was done

At $7 with quite a lot of reviews I thought it would be a great little light to help me see my keyboard better in low light conditions. Not only that but it comes with 2. However this price point seems to mean extremely poor quality. The only legitimate reason I can think why it has so many good reviews is that it works well for 2 ish weeks so gets the good review before it breaks and people don;t revise their reviews. Let me give another detail or 2. I made my purchase about a month or 1.5 months ago and after the first 2 or so weeks the switch stopped working and only 1 light was left permanently on. I requested a replacement thinking it might just be a defect and that the replacement would not be defective. I received my new pack and just like the first light the 2nd worked perfectly fine when I plugged it in and started using it,. Yesterday I tried to turn the switch off though and you guessed it ... the switch hsd stopped working. The light was permanently stuck. So I definitely don't recommend this light unless you just need something for 2 weeks (or maybe even a few days from other reviews). 2 in a row tells me there is something defective about the design / overall quality of this product.
