Will this work with toyota, honda and Jeep? What are the adapter for?

Yes, it will work with those makes. The adapters are for the additional test coverage of shielded relays. Please note, specialty relays with non-SAE standard wiring schematic do not work on the tester.

Tests both 12 and 24 volt relays.

I have been working automotive / heavy equipment for 30+ years - - Wouldn't it be easier to simply swap relays

Am also in the industrial equipment world, and have found it much easier and cheaper to have this unit. Simple, easy, and gives you to opportunity to check all relays...better than buying a realy, and discover you didn't need it. When I run a relay check, I always run it twice, just to be on the safe side.
