Seca 201 ergonomic tape circumferences meter

This is a very clever design. It's easy to use on yourself (e.g. measuring your waist) and also for measuring others. The design means you can't see the result till you take it off so there's less temptation to cheat. Then it holds the result nicely while you write it down. When measuring someone else it's very hassle free and doesn't require your client to hold still while you read the tape. The tape is double sided so you can use it for measuring around the body on one side and on the other it's like a conventional tape measure counting from zero. I would recommend this if you're going to be taking measurements regularly.

Great product as I have experienced now with all Seca equipment, well made, looks the part, professional and easy to use. A must buy. Only down side is that it only shows measurements in cm and not inches also. But a minor flaw.

Very good product, easy to use e.g. to measure head circumference.

Although the description said inches mine came in cm only. One side started at 6cm making me 6cm thinner than I was, and the other sided started about 3/4 cm from the edge at 1cm which made me seem larger. This meant it was difficult to gauge an accurate reading. Perhaps there is a logic to this but I am not sure what it is. I could have kept the tape and still used it to measure any reductions but that was not what I ordered. The mechanism was sluggish and needed pressing more than once. Overall it didn't compare to a previous one I had for many years.

Bought this to replace an old Seca tape and was a little disappointed that it is not as robust as my original one. Easy to use but not sure if it will last that long with constant use.

So easy to use, after a month no sign of any issues. Much better measure than the scales if you're trying to lose fat as you might be gaining muscle elsewhere, and visceral fat in your middle is the dangerous (and dare I say less attractive) stuff that you're trying to lose.

Fit for purpose, great for measuring head circumference and calfs (medical and nursing staff will understand why)!! Nice little thing!!

Très pratique pour mesurer facilement les tours de taille ou autres mesures sans se tromper. Le système ergonomique permet de bloquer la mesure et de lire le résultat facilement. Outil précis et de bonne qualité.

Il nastro in questione è di ottima fattura per quanto riguarda i materiali, la Seca è un marchio che è garanzia. Si presenta di piccole dimensioni, quindi facile da trasportare nella tasca del camice, ma racchiude un metro che raggiunge i 2 metri di lunghezza, utile per chi tratta pazienti dalle circonferenze importanti. Il meccanismo retrattile è ben fatto e non "stringe" la pelle ma si adagia, permettendo una lettura giusta, se posta nell'apposito punto di repere. Unica minuscola pecca è che, dal momento che la larghezza del metro è leggermente inferiore a quella tipica di "sartoria", esso è più propenso a torsioni e capovolgimenti, necessita un tocco di delicatezza in più.

Tengo que utilizar este tipo de medidores de perímetro en mi trabajo de forma habitual. Mientras que los modelos comunes tienen una vida muy corta, y la cinta se rompe a los pocos usos, este es resistente y de calidad. Además, la medición es mucho más fiable, ya que no tiene un bloqueo "por pasos" sino que la cinta puede bloquearse en toda su extensió, sin límites. Excelente. Actualizado a 3/10/2020: Tres años de uso, y esta cinta de medida sigue como el primer día. Ha sido utilizada a lo largo de estos tres años en unos ciento cincuenta pacientes, para tomar sus medidas semanalmente. La cinta no se ha degradado, el botón de bloqueo funciona a la perfección y su funcionalidad es perfecta. Tanto es así que ya he adquirido dos unidades para utilizarlas en las diferentes clínicas en las que trabajo. Si eres un profesional de la dietética o el entrenamiento personal, no lo pienses. Ésta es la cinta que debes adquirir.
