Probably 10 minutes to unpack, 10 to be confused by the directions, and 10 to assemble once I figured out the confusion. The directions have you assembling some components using bolts and washers that are already assembled, so you have extras at the end (pictured). The package arrived quickly, the parts very well protected, not to heavy for me to handle alone. I am really surprised at how easy it was to put together. The operation is quite smooth, both standing and sitting. This is my first day of use, but I can tell it will give me a really good workout. I'd say I'm in "fair" physical shape - walk several miles a day, but really need core and arm exercise. I am able to operate it just fine, but on my first day, 10 minutes was a challenge for my upper body muscles. I need that challenge and plan to work up a few more minutes each day.
