I bought this to try to replicate the flavor at home. I give it 4 stars, it's not exactly like Starbucks syrup, but it's pretty good. I will try it with espresso martinis at my next party. The bottle is huge and comes with a good quality pump. When the pump is in place, the bottle is quite tall, so keep this in mind, it won't fit in your cabinets. Mine sits behind my espresso machine, on the counter top - I don't mind as the bottle is attractive enough to display, and also it's plastic so won't break if you drop it. Yes, this is full of vanilla beans (which is a good thing!) so just remember to invert the bottle a few times before and during use, to keep the mixture even. I really enjoyed the taste of the first three times or so that I used it. After that, it seems all the pieces of the pod started to come through with the cyrup, it gave me the impression that I was drinking coffee with little pieces of wood. One can even see them at the bottom of the mug.I thought I might have stirred the bottom, and that the pieces would eventually go to the bottom, but nothing changed even after I waited for a week. I thought I might try to find a way to filter it (as it did have a great taste in the beginning), but in the end just threw it in the bin - it would be too much of a hassle.What a shame. Then I realised it was because there's actual vanilla seeds in it, unlike other vanilla syrup products I have seen. This is a plus point, as you can see that it has not been over-processed, and they create a beautiful contrast to the white of the milk if you have a foam cap on your drink. Of course, you can also taste the vanilla, and it is delicious.The bottle comes with a pump that fits very well and doesn't leak.
