Buy Cash on Delivery: A Play For A Small Ensemble (Acting Edition S.) by Cooney, Michael (ISBN: 9780573017520) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Simply Amazing - OK, where do you want me to begin? I first became familiar with this story when I went to audition for the parts or Forbright and Dr. Chapman at the theatre society I ama meember of. I subsequently got the part of Forebright and mg godness was it a blast. The story is basically set in a house where Eric Swan has been made redundant a year earlier but hasn't told his wife. After fiddling the DSS for a year he decides to come clean, however he discovers that things are never that easy and that is when the fun begins. If you get the chance, buy the book or even better catch the play. Review: A lovely, light comedy with plenty of silly British humour. It reminds me of some of the good old british comedies you used to see on TV. I'd love to perform this one. It gets confusing with all the characters and name switching, but would be so clear once seen on stage. The Kindle edition is full of errors, both grammar and dialogue order, so it would be advisable for these to be corrected. If I hadn't needed this urgently, because of an audition, I would have purchased the paperback. Worth the money for a little giggle.

I ordered this copy to prepare for an audition for a production of this play at the Hale Centre Theatre in Gilbert, AZ. I got cast! So I’m gonna call ordering this a good idea.

I wasn't sure how to rate this. I think the play is hilarious but the condition my book was in was pretty sad. I paid more for it than I normally have to pay for the same type books but it was pretty marked up and had pages falling out.

Love this play, but there are tons of errors in this book. So many simple errors that could have been spotted easily. Oh well. Still a great read :)
