It works exactly as promised. The best shaver I've ever owned.
Dude this is genuinely the coolest shaver I've ever owned. I was pretty skeptical because I've owned so many different shavers and they all suck. But this one was so easy and painless and I feel so smooth. I never knew shavers could be good like this. Wtf, I'm genuinely in shock.

Better than everything else Ive tried...
I very rarely write reviews. This back razor does the job extremely well. I have been shaving my back for years now and have tried a few different products. I was using the electric kind (back scape) and I was constantly breaking the handle and replacing the blades. It also would not get a very close shave, so I would have to do it a few times a week (yes, I'm a gorilla, the only place that I don't grow hair is my fingernails). There was a bit of a learning curve. Tried to do it in the shower without looking at what I was doing and got a couple minor cuts. Transitioned to doing it dry in front of the mirror and that works really well. My back is used to getting shaved, so I dont get razor burn very easily. My method now is to run the hot water, rinse the blade, do a couple passes, rinse again and repeat. The little bit of water helps with it gliding on the skin. The results are fantastic. Close shave, dont have to shave as often, much better than electric. As long as Im paying attention, I dont get any cuts or irritation. The quality is great, I had a similar product in the past, cut myself all the time, but this one is better. Blades are cheaper than the electric kind. All in all, I highly recommend this product. If you are on the fence, just do it.

Works great, but why has it *doubled* in price?
I've had this for 6 years and it works great. Sometimes I use an *electric* back hair trimmer (tried the expensive "Mangroomer" first, then found the "Philips Norelco Bodygroom 5000 with Back Attachment" worked even better for half the price). But I have thick back hair and the electric trimmers always leave my back "stubbly" -- because they can't shave it down 100% to the skin, it leaves visible stubble and my skin feels like a scratchy five o'clock shadow to anyone who touches it. But I use this when I want a 100% baby-butt-smooth back with zero visible stubble. If I use this and then go to the beach, nobody has a clue my back is actually crazy hairy like an ape. There are 3 complaints I see in other reviews that haven't been a problem for me at all: 1) I see people complaining that it can irritate, but I use this in the hot shower with a soaped-up back, and get zero irritation. I also use it with only one blade inserted, rather than two -- I feel like that gives me much more precise control, and half as many blades means half as much irritation. (I would never try it "dry" even though it's advertised for that.) 2) I see people complaining it's not long enough to get your whole back, but I don't understand -- I'm over six feet tall and can get it all. But I only use it "over the shoulder" (like in the photos) for my upper back. For my middle and lower back, I reach around laterally, below my arms -- I start at my spine and then shave towards my sides. Maybe people aren't using it from the side? 3) I see people complaining it's difficult to remove the blade and that they've even cut themselves doing so. I'm totally baffled by this -- you pull the blade cartridge out sideways, using the plastic tab provided to pull on, and it slides easily. It's just plastic against plastic. And the pull tab is far away from the blade itself. Even if the cartridge did somehow get stuck and you had to forcefully remove it, I still don't understand how you could cut yourself in the process. It seems 100% safe to me. However, I do have a big issue with this product which is that it's doubled in price! I bought it back in 2018, and for the first couple years it was $28-30 (as you can verify on CamelCamelCamel). But then in 2020 it went up to $40, in 2021 it went up to $50, and now in 2024 it's gone up to $60!!! (Well, $59.95 technically, but I'm rounding up.) What the *heck*. Sure there's been some inflation since 2018, but that would make it only $34 now in 2024, from $28 in 2018. But even *accounting* for inflation, it's almost *doubled*! That's INSANE. It's just a big piece of plastic with a hinge, and four razor blades in plastic cartridges. Charging $60 for this is just corporate greed pure and simple. Bring the price down to $35 which would be fair again. I'm sick and tired of companies trying to take advantage like this.

Great product.
It worked great. The only thing that kind of hindered getting all the hair is that I'm a bodybuilder with a lot of muscle tone. Trying to get the hair in between the muscles is hard, but that has nothing to do with the quality of this item, that's a me problem and not a shaver problem. I don't like body hair on me and this will definitely keep it to a minimum. Long handle, great reach around all areas of my back, legs, arms, shoulders, etc. Very ergonomic though I wish the locking handle had some adjustability to reach different areas. Folds neatly in half for travel or for storing on the included suction mount holder.

Great Product
I had been using a battery powered back shaver for years and that device was showing its age. While I liked that shaver I was interested in trying something more budget friendly. I gave this shaver a try and I am glad I did. I find it easy to use and it does a great job. I will note that I started using this shaver after having used the battery powered model to shorten my back hair so I am not sure how it would be on an initial cut for a really hairy back. Now I use it every couple of weeks to keep my back hair under control. It is easy and does the job quickly.

Pricey, unwarranted price increases but works well.
I bought this in 2018 and it finally broke to the point I could no longer use it. When I went to purchase a new one I saw the price and thought there was no way I spent that much on it in 2018. Yes, I understand inflation etc. But the going rate of inflation this item should cost around 35 dollars. I paid 27 dollars for it in 2018 and it currently sits at 65 dollars in 2025. Literally double the rate of inflation. In Oct 2022 the price went form 32 to 55 dollars overnight. Then in APR 2024 it went from 48 to 64. These are price increases that are predatory. I rated the item high as it worked well but in less than a few months the blades started to corrode, and in 1 year the flimsy end piece that retain the blades broke and I just dealt with it. A few months ago the blade slides from to the point of making the item useless. If your model is blades then make a carriage that will last forever. I have razors from the 1920s that still take a standard razor and work today. If your model is replace the main unit every few years then drop your price to a more reasonable level. This thing is plastic after all. Would I recommend this item, yes. Would I tell you to stay away from clones. No. Get your moneys worth and buy something much cheaper with decent reviews, especially considering the main component will fail eventually.

D.I.Y. Backhair Removal!
Oh man I wish I took before pics because I am a VERY hairy mf...This is a fantastic product! For reference, 35 y/o man who for the first time in his life, decided was tired of being a wookie. I didn't need to trim beforehand, this worked perfectly at removing life-long hairs. I love that I can do this by myself, as I single man that's pretty essential. It reaches everywhere on the back, just have to double-check in the mirror...which on that subject, yes it actually does work well wet or dry! 10/10 and bought the refill pack for razors
