Honestly, it is great, dont get me wrong. It is one of the best voice amplifiers I have used, but Shidu I have to say wins on this one. However, it is still a good, strong voice amplifier. The sound quality is amazing and the price is great for the quality you get.

This is really easy to use. I like how it includes a lanyard but can also be clipped on at the waist if you don’t want to wear it as a lanyard. It’s connects automatically as long as both amplifier and headset is turned on. It’s lightweight but sturdy. The headset is flexible and adjustable. It’s also loud and is clear. Great for classrooms, entertainment, karaoke, and more!

So, I was diagnosed with dysphonia and my speech pathologist recommended I purchase a voice amplifier. I bought one from another company on amazon. I could not figure out how to operate it and returned it right away. Since speech therapy wasn't helping enough my ENT referred me to ENT Layrx specialist. He recommended I have Botox injected into my vocal cords. The side effect would be my voice would be a whisper. I did not take it seriously. I am a psychotherapist and I didn't work for at least one week because I barely had a voice. I got this voice amplifier on Sunday and used it for work starting Monday. Overall it's annoying for me because I can hear an echo but I try to get past that. I worked from home Monday and had to use my cell phone on speaker phone. Luckily the few clients I had understood me. I worked at the clinic Tuesday to Friday and most of my clients understood me using the work speaker phone. One client could not understand me at times. Today I tried to call a potential client with my cell phone speaker and she could not understand me. I also tried to call my mom with the cell phone speaker and she could not understand me. Very frustrating. The headset is very uncomfortable. I see no point to have things on my ears like that. The speaker part was fine. You have to charge both the headset and the speaker. One loses power quicker than the other. I just don't remember which one. It's not perfect but for the price it's helping me manage at work until I get my semi normal voice back.

Unfortunately, after some time, the microphone began to droop and wouldn’t stay in position. Not long after that, the audio started to distort, especially if I wasn’t facing the speaker directly. Eventually, it stopped reliably picking up my voice altogether, which made it unusable in a teaching setting. I really enjoyed this product when it was working properly, so I was disappointed that it didn’t last longer. I’m hoping this may have just been a defective unit, because I’d absolutely continue using and recommending it if this issue could be resolved.

For such a small device, this amplifier is amazing. Light and discrete, you don't feel odd having this on you like some of the bulkier counterparts. Produces good quality sound and loud enough to be used in the classroom setting with ease. With multiple options for wearing it and a wireless headset/ microphone, it's so easy and convenient to use. My preferred way is to have it sit at the front of the room and keep the headset around my neck, keeping me hands free and able to move around. The range is incredible- I tested in a two story building and the amplifier was able to pick up whispered conversation from the opposite side of the office downstairs. Would highly recommend for all teachers, or if you're thinking of getting a new graduate a gift to use in the classroom, this is amazing value for money!
