Must have to keep your battery from draining
Extremely happy with this item. Installation was easy but does require a large crimper depending on your wire size. No more dead batteries it disconnects everything. Mounted easy to my battery box. Nice size knob easy to grab. So far has been extremely durable.

Great product, I just ordered the wrong one. This switch is large and is of the same quality as the one I ultimately ended up needing from the same manufacturer.

1/2 inch bolts for electrical connections. Seems to be well made

Heavy Duty
This is a heavy duty battery isolator. The studs inside of it are 1/2 inch diameter which are too large for most battery terminals. The typical auto or truck battery terminal is 5/16 or 3/8 inch diameter so beware what your terminal has before buying this unit. It is bulky and may not fit in a tightly packed engine compartment. For my purposes it works great so I give it five stars.

Not quite rated for 600 amps
I measured the voltage drop across the switch to be 140 millivolts at 120 amps. (That is about 1.17 milliohms.) At that current the switch will be dissipating 17 watts..... that's quite a bit, and yes it does get HOT. At 600 amps, it would dissipate over 400 watts, and I guarantee the plastic would liquefy in seconds. I would not use this over ~80 amps continuous duty, and that may be pushing it.

Well built and wish I could have used it
I sent this back only because it was too large for where I need to install it. It was very well made and heavy duty so would have used it if it would have fit.

Quickly shuts down power
Nice product for ability to turn off battery power quickly. Seems well made and have used on tractor now for 3 yrs and no problems

Lasts, doesn't burn out.
Used a 300 amp switch (theoretically the correct size) and it went back in a month or three. Replaced it with another 300 amp switch thinking it must have been defective. The second one only lasted a month. Replaced it with this 600 amp beast and it's still there a year and a half later. Done!
