Excellent customer service
I wasn't happy when I first purchased this. I thought I did something wrong because the camera was not connecting. I even went through all the troubleshooting and I still couldn't figure out why the camera wasn't working. I then contacted Amazon and they were no help they asked me to do the exact things that the troubleshooting told me to do. So I asked for a replacement and got one in a couple days. I placed the camera part on the one I had and it worked right away. I sent the bad camera back. After finally getting a camera that worked, it did a great job through my bathtub drain. I was able to see what was plugging my drain. One of my kids put a toy down there. I had to go under the house and take the drain apart and put it back together. This is an excellent product and the line is extra long.

I really want to love this camera but...
I really want to love this camera but it stopped working on me withing the first 5 minutes of use. Looks and feels like it's high quality, and at first the picture was beautiful too. But within five minutes the main unit just lost connection with the cable and no longer showed any picture or lit up the LED light on the camera. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting several times but no response whatsoever. Returned, and hoping now for a swift exchange so I can give it another go with this!

Camera stopped working after a couple of years
Worked for a couple of years, but then the camera stopped being recognized and all I got was a black screen. Also, the cable does not have enough strenth to push all the way into other than smooth PVC pipes. If you have corrugated pipes this won't go in all the way whatsoever.

Uses are limitless
The more I use this the more ideas I come up with. The video I attached shows me scoping the former floor outlet in my living room. I found batteries, coins, the back cover for a remote control and more. I also seen some things down there that I didn’t want to like mouse turds :-). We have used this to scope behind the refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. Any place that is difficult to get to can easily be seen with this scope. It’s waterproof and has a light at the end so you can go anywhere. The more we use it the more ideas come into our mind. The only con is the ability to maneuver the cord as it gets deeper into an area. We have not gotten anywhere near the 50 feet that it comes with and I can’t imagine how we would move it around at that length anyway. The base has a rechargeable battery and a large screen. As you can see from the pictures and the video there is a crystal clear display. It’s best used by two people, one to hold the base and the other to feed and maneuver the cable/camera. The base has multiple options and allows you the ability to turn on/off the light. It also comes with a 32 MB mini SD card so you can record what you are watching. The uses for this thing are limited to your imagination. our next project is to scope the kitchen sink to see what’s causing some minor blockage. We really like it so far.

Heavy duty, easy to operate
This inspection camera has a multitude of uses around the house and I have already made good use of this in several different ways. I used it to verify if the guy who swept my chimney actually did a decent job. I used it to snake from a toilet out to where my septic tank is as a preventative measure for early detection of blockages. I also used it to determine the best way to run a 12/3 from my panel in the garage down the wall to my basement. This was just in the first 2 days pf having it! I've found my new toy! Operation is simple: Plug the snake into the handheld monitor, power on and start exploring. The controls are pretty intuitive and I only needed to refer to the manual a couple of times. The light on the end of the scope is powerful enough to give a clear view of what you are looking at and the snake itself is thick enough to clean easily. 5 stars. Recommended without reservation and one of the most useful items I have ever acquired.

Doesn’t work for sewer drain
Great image but the cord isn’t stiff enough to go around turns in a sewer pipe, so the 50ft length is basically useless unless you have a pipe with literally no turns.

Vraiment un bon appareil et abordable et simple à utiliser pour vérifier l'état de votre drain et bien d'autres.

Instructions are simple. Easy to change camera ends. Easy to use. Saved us a lot of money; problem in sewer pipe but didn't know where in the line the problem was. This located it for me quickly. Tip: if possible flush line by using garden hose down clean outs and let it run for approx 5 minutes. Cleans out reside for better view.
