It does what it's supposed to.
Great price, gone back to this old fashioned remedy as the thin strings get tangled and break easily. Easy install although because they can't be attached to my prv door frame but to a piece of timber above the door they are a bit short.

Good value but not sure about the quality ☺️
Yes retro they might be but Quality is not. very poorly made I can remember my grandad and grammar having them on the front door frame yes every body had theme they have to be strong way kids are in & out. These today will not last.

THRILLED TO BITS!
Amongst other things which get on my nerves, FLIES are the biggest. I cannot abide flies, and this year, in the recent hot, hot heat of July, we seem to have had a plentiful supply of the little bug bears. I tried some voile curtains on a rod fixed over the door to stop the flies coming into the house, but because I have two dogs, I had to leave a small opening at the bottom so that the dogs could come in and out, and the flippin' flies found their way in through that little gap. So ... I ordered two of these Strip Blinds and the moment they arrived we put one up at the door and since then we have only had three very unlucky flies who have managed to get in via a teeny opening in a window. They didn't stand up to the husband with muscles and a fly squat! But the Strip Blind is BRILLIANT! I'm SO pleased with it. No flies have managed to get past the moving 'ribbons' and the dogs are happy to walk through them, even though they hang right down and almost touch the floor! Ok... one dog did take a few hours to learn that she could actually go through them whenever she liked and didn't have to ask for assistance... but once she'd got the idea she was well away then! I'm completely thrilled to bits with these ribbon style blinds and would definitely buy them again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Very much worth the money for the peace of mind and NO PESKY FLIES! Rubbish, avoid
After one months use, what an ABSOLUTE waste of money. I know they were cheap but even so they should be fit for purpose. Bought a spring loaded shower rail to enable the strips to be placed in the doorway without screws, bought some small wheel balancing weights which I stuck on the end of each strip to prevent the strips floating in the breeze. The rail and weights cost twice the strips and what happens? the strips just fall out of the white rail at the top. They are only pushed fit and the plastic is such that Super glue doesn't adhere. Absolute rubbish, avoid. £30+ down the drain. Kept the rail binned the rest.

Too Flimsy
As others have said, the slightest breeze has the strips blowing all over the place. As to whether it works or not, well, it might help slightly but we still had some flies getting through. The thing is poor quality as 6 or 7 of the strips have fallen out after a few weeks. I paid just over £6 for it, thinking if it only lasts one summer and it works it'll worth it. But it didn't really work very well and it certainly didn't last a summer. Should have got my money back really but couldn't be bothered. Would not recommend although as someone else said, it could work for an internal door screen as it’s colourful and opaque. Also, people are talking about a mesh product here which is not what this is. Amazon needs to look into it.

Plastic rod was crushed & cracked, very poor glue adhesion to rod, had to re glue some tapes; tails remained curly instead of returning straight after hanging. Tapes too thin & tend to roll in on themselves, leaving bigger gaps between adjacent tapes allowing more see through. I used three of the blinds to cover an entrance to a workshop. Overall did not meet my expectations of use.
