Firstly, delivery & packaging left a bit to be desired, but this is a review of the product, so I won’t factor those issues in here. I usually don’t review a product immediately, as I feel I have to live with it awhile, and also get an idea of its longevity. However, as it’s “leaf season”, I thought I’d waive that rule. So… We live next to a wooded area, so our Autumns are a continual chore of collecting leaves, and previously it’s a PITA and a pain in the back. After a couple of days use after a major storm has removed most of the leaves from the trees: this thing really does grab the leaves! Not only on tarmac, but also surprisingly on grass as well, while I also realised that you could use it to scrape leaves into a heap in order to get a fuller “grab”. Oh, and I decided to get a manual grabber rather than a powered leaf vacuum as so many reviews of those said they were useless with wet leaves. This has no issue with wet leaves at all. Other leaf grabbers I’ve seen reviewed have complained about lack of teeth on the grabbers, which I can see would be a problem when trying to scrape up especially wet leaves or when using on grass. This one has teeth, which no doubt adds to its performance. Also, reviews of other grabbers have complained about the flimsiness of the plastics used, but this one seems very sturdy. The handles have sponge padding, which aids grip, and also the grabbers are set at an angle, which makes use easier as you don’t have to be leaning over it to keep the arms vertical. And finally (!), given that I’m offloading into a full-size wheels bin, the thing is light enough to continue doing so without strain, with me stopping only when the bin was full. I wouldn’t have thought there would be so much to say about such a simple bit of kit, but this is such a step up from previous years of brushing leaves and bending down to scoop them that I’m really enthusiastic about tackling our leaf collection chore this year. Let’s just hope its longevity stands up to it….

We have 3 mature beech trees in our street. Beautiful, but the leaf drop at this time of year is enormous. There's always parked cars, so the Council can't get near to use a mechanical sweeper and we end up with a choked street drain. My neighbours and I try our best each year to keep it clear but it's always back breaking work. However, this tool made it incredibly easy and quick. I was sceptical but I take it back. Easy to use, light to lift and keeps the leaves secure before release. What a difference this has made! It seems robust enough and I'm very pleased with this purchase.

This works okay but it arrived with the leaf grabbers an inch or two out of alignment. It doesn't feel as sturdy as some reviewers suggest either. It came barely wrapped inside a gigantic box so it may have been knocked around during delivery. It will do for now but I'd prefer something sturdier.

This is a real life changer! We have a lot of leaves at the back of our church and I can clear them on a regular basis remarkably quickly and easily. No bending and I don’t even have to get my hands dirty! Sturdy, not heavy and good value for money. Highly recommend!

As I’m surrounded by protected trees, my garden gets covered in leaves in Autumn and, after years of using a brush and rake to collect them, I decided to try a leaf grabber. I’m delighted with my purchase. It’s lightweight and easy to use and picks up more leaves in one go than anything I’ve used in the past. It also means there is no need to bend down to pick them up. That’s a real bonus!

Works very well and picks up a surprising quantity of leaves. It was actually quicker than using my old electric leaf vacuum and I had no back pain using it.

Very good for collecting leaves, grass etc on various surfaces. Reduces time to clean up after trimming hedges, bushes. I use blower to accumulate and then scoop the material up. Much faster than brush and shovel.
