Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I Network Card

I got this card to replace my TP Link WDN-4800 as it stopped connecting to 5GHz networks on Windows 10 build 1607. This card is an Intel Dual Band AC 8260 with BT 4.0 and Widi, it is rev 4.2 and was from Amazon direct. The card does not come with a low profile bracket so I was able to remove the bracket and unscrew the antenna connectors, I then drilled some holes into the original PCIe slot cover and and reattached the antenna connectors. The antenna has a magnetic base so I was able attach it to the side of the case and keep it out the way. Windows 10 build 1607 used old drivers by default, after doing a driver search via device manager a recent driver was found via windows update. There was no need to install drivers from Intel, everything works as expected and the connection is strong and stable on the 5GHz band.

Rented a room in a house. WIFI was only available, no Ethernet connection and was building a PC. Router is located one floor down, ven with extenders/repeaters only option for my brand new PC to get internet is either to bridge the connection and use my laptop's network card, get a WIFI USB stick, or to get a network card. As of now, the card is exceptionally the perfect choice for an averaged priced but very good network signal (even better than my laptop's). In addition it has BLUETOOTH! I was thinking of getting an 'ASUS PCE-AC56 Next Generation Dual-Band Wireless-AC130​0 PCIe Adapter, High-Power Design, 2 x Enternal antennas', but the sheer price of just a network card (till I find a new place that allows me to connect ethernet) lead me to choosing this. No regrets whatsoever! Especially the fact that I have a set of Bluetooth speakers, the WIFI signal doesnt get interupted at all while coming from the same card that is sending a Bluetooth stream of music to my speakers. The only weird thing for me is the antenna design. It works fine (full bars with just the router signal one floor down without any extenders/repeaters), and the antenna has a magnetic base, which I practically just stick on to the side of the PC case, no problems whatsoever. Installation was easy, quick and fast. The network card was already working prior to installing the drivers from Gigabyte website (or the CD if you have an optical drive). With the drivers, you'll find yourself getting more from what it initially came with just right after adding it to the PC and auto installing by the PC.

After coping with various USB adapters for my desktop PC which inevitably break or just randomly stop working over time, even with the correct drivers, I thought that there must be a better way to connect to the internet. Unfortunately Ethernet is not an option for me however Wi-Fi should still be just as good, when it works. This product works. Connect the device, install the drivers and away you go. No drop-outs since I bought this (three months ago) compared to drop-outs almost daily with my previous USB adapter. A few things to note: - The adapter has Bluetooth functionality which I have not tested but which requires an internal USB port (cable supplied) to work - This is actually quite an old product now (relatively) but don't let that put you off - 5GHz ac wifi - the 5GHz is good, Windows automatically connected to it - The antenna has a nice magnetic base, good for those with steel chassis but less so for those with aluminium. Also the cables could be longer (the only negative point I can say about this device). That is all, thanks for reading!

I bought a motherboard for a home-brew rig, and was disappointed to find that it didn't have on-board wi-fi. This Gigabyte network card saved the day. After installing, it worked first time and was recognised instantly by Windows 10 without having to install any drivers. The addition of the antenna is also a useful touch, giving more flexibility to boost the signal strength to my Virgin router located in another room. Handles a 300mpbs connection with no sign of dropping or packet slippage, and I consistently get max speeds. Great wi-fi card, at a decent price. Fast delivery, installed all fine including a quick dust removal from PC case. My Rig is running Win 10 Pro 64bit, driver CD is NOT needed, as windows installs latest Driver for both Wi-fi & Bluetooth (card I received was ver 4.2). Perfect for my use as I have a Logitech Dinovo Mini Bluetooth keypad, I can now do away with USB wireless receiver. Network wise I'm still running an Ethernet connection but wi-fi signal is strong from Antenna (Antenna has powerful magnetic base stays on nice too rear of my case). Bluetooth function is perfect, been running with 3 devices connected at once (Mini keypad & 2 Xbox Controller's). Using 2 Xbox One-S Controller's together works well. All devices paired on 1st time of asking without issue, happy I brought this combined Wi-fi/Bluetooth Pcie card

I have attached the before and after speed test results for this card. It's fast and the Bluetooth works well. The installation was also super easy and it just works. I had to knock a star off for the aesthetics however. There is a green led that can be seen on the inside of the PC. If you have a clear panel on the side of your PC and you have a lighting color scheme going on like me then having that green led is really annoying. I'm going to cover it with a piece of tape though so it's not a major issue. The other thing is that I wish it came with some sort of black plate to make it look a bit nicer but for the price you can't complain too much! All in all it's a good product and it works well, just not the best looking thing ever.

Easy peasy to install, basically just plug everything in. The black colour of the board matches my Gigabyte Z97P MOBO perfectly. Much better aesthetically then the green alternatives out there. The WIFI works flawlessly. Two rooms over from the hub and i'm getting speeds of 85mbs to 98mbs out of the 100mbs i pay for which is good. More or less the same speeds as the Powerlink adapter i was using before but less wires!! The aerial is cool looking and magnetic. The Bluetooth works well when file transferring, but when i listen on my Bluetooth headphones the sound quality is awful. Its muffled and sounds like i'm underwater. I guess i can't rule out human error, but when i plug in a USB Bluetooth dongle i have, the sound comes through crystal clear so the jury is out. But like i said file transfer is snappy.

After having issues with Powerline adapters as my house wiring is quite old I realised that my existing PC Wireless card was about 5 years old so it was time to upgrade it for 5G. Reviews for this were excellent and the price was competitive. Easy to fit and the external antenna make it easy to place them for the best signal. This has improved my connection no end by about 4x.

L'installazione è stata veloce e priva di intoppi, la base magnetica per l'antenna è solida e il cavo abbastanza lungo per posizionarlo anche sulla scrivania (il mio computer giace sotto quest'ultima). INSTALLAZIONE: Prima di comprare questa scheda ho notato diverse recensioni che lamentavano problemi legati all'uso in ambiente windows 10. La scheda in questione è PERFETTAMENTE compatibile con windows 10, basterà solo scaricare gli appositi driver dal sito Gigabyte (Ho impiegato circa 2 minuti per trovarli). Sono disponibili driver compatibili da Windows XP a 10, sia 32 che 64 bit. USO: Il prodotto fa quello che deve e lo fa senza intoppi, ho testato sia la ricezione del segnale che la velocità di collegamento e sono rimasto pienamente soddisfatto, non ho riscontrato nessun problema durante l'accoppiamento con svariate reti wireless (AC e non) e diversi apparecchi bluetooth. Il prodotto rispetta pienamente la descrizione e ha un rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente!

TLDR : Parfait pour toutes personnes voulant jouer aux jeux en lignes, surfer sur internet, streaming ou autres avec une installation simple et rapide sans drivers nécéssaire pour son bon fonctionnement. Les plus : - vitesse de download et upload stable - marche sans drivers (tout est directement reconnu et opérationnel avec windows10 64bits) - connection bluetooth sans interruptions - fil pour l'antenne assez longue pour la mettre où vous voulez sur une table de taille moyenne - base de l'antenne magnétisée avec antenne directionnelle (vous pouvez donc le mettre sur votre boitier pc et changer la direction de l'antenne comme bon vous semble) Les moins : - l'installation nécéssaire pour que le bluetooth marche est très légèrement moins plaisante. Faites bien attention de bien enfoncer le port USB de la carte et d'avoir un port libre sur votre carte mère.

Me costó bastante encontrar un producto de estas caracteristicas y he de decir que este cumple con creces mis expectativas. Quería una tarjeta de red con wifi ac (ya que es un gran avance tecnologico y soporta perfectamente mas de 500mb/s reales y estables) y bluetooth 4.0, ya que el bluetooth que tenia anteriormente no tenia un alcance superior a unos 2 metros y había interferencias. Por ahora funciona perfecto, calidad excelente, muy buena señal, antena magnetica es un perfecto todo en uno. No solo hace de tarjeta de red, si no que es un lector de tarjetas de red para ordenadores portatiles que incluye un excelente lector, y un puerto USB, esto nos da la ventaja de en un futuro poder actualizarlo o también si tenemos un portátil poder conectar el modulo al portátil y listo. Los drivers están actualizados para Windows 10 (32 y 64bits) y para sistemas operativos anteriores desde la propia web del fabricante (gigabyte), la última versión que hay disponible es de hace aproximadamente un mes, cosa que se agradece (que se mantentan actualizados o al menos que funcionen correctamente en los más recientes sistemas operativos a parte de los anteriores). Compra totalmente recomendada y más por este precio.
