As a water stain would have resulted in the cloth becoming saturated, with very large quantities of accumulated dust, dirt, chalk, and other contaminants being deposited deeply between the cloth fibers, it is unlikely to solve your problem. This is a great product for regular cleaning, but you are going to need a more drastic solution. Yes, it COULD help, but not with a severe water stain. What I would suspect you to need to do is to thoroughly cleanse the cloth with a substantial amount of water and detergent. Your cloth is most likely a wool/nylon blend. So long as you use something that is wool-safe, you should be fine. Consider a steam cleaner or an upholstery cleaner. Simple shampoo might work well for you. But, when it gets down to it, it was water that caused your problem, and it will take water to fix it. I hope you find this helpful!

Chalk dust, but I don't know about lint and pet hair.

I really had my doubts, sprayed the whole table and wiped 10 seconds after, my table looks like it is new, unbelievable. This stuff is amazing! So $60 for this product is a steal!

I was skepticle due to the price. But yes, I can confirm this stuff really works. I have a pool table in my vacation rental and it has been in there for 8 years. The red felt looked so tired even though I would vaccum it. My felt is old and well used, but this definetly spruced it up. I would say there are about 4-5 applications in one can. It does say to apply lightly, I went a little thicker and did not have any issues

Follow the instructions exactly as described and you will be shocked at how well this stuff cleans your felt. One thing to note, we have a Simonis black dot where you rack the balls - this spray made the paint come off the dot. In their defense, they warn you about it on the bottle, so it's our fault.....otherwise, our experience with this cleaner is A+++
