Review: Great product. - Great product, I had to remove an old patio with heavy concrete slabs (60cmx60cmx3.5cm) 25kg each. Without this tool it would have taken much longer and not been as safe! Also lifting did not put pressure on my back and I did not ache after lifting 50 in a day! Only criticisms are the handle has two positions and one of the holes was not aligned properly. A few of the slabs were angled and it struggled to grip them, but managed to move them after a few attempts. Review: Simple easy to use. - A simple well made, strong, lifting devise. The slabs I am lifting are 600mm x 750mm 50mm. Not sure on weight (35kg) The lifter grips and lifts them easily. In other words what gap is left between the tiles when you lay one next to the other. Thank you** A: Sorry for the delay.the actual grabber metal is 3mm thick and slightly curved to grab the flags. You will need 5mm gap in between flags.it is a very strong tool and has a very strong grip on the flags.I have the large 3' x 2' thick concrete flags and lifted them no problem. If you are lifting heavy large flags then You will need a long bar and someone helping you. Make sure the grabber is fully in and toching the top of the flag before lifting.400 x 400 flags are a one man job and easy.I hope that helps You. **Q: Would this lift a slab that is 3 ft x 2 ft?** A: the answer lies partly in the load capacity of 60kg - My husband managed to lift a 3ft x 2ft slab , but any slabs were only lifted horizontally across the 2ft width of the slab - I would doubt it would lift the slab vertically * - certainly the grip on the flag is sufficient from the 62cm lifter to lift the 3ft x 2ft slab , but only horizontally ! .
