Skandika Waterproof Copenhagen Unisex Outdoor Dome Tent

We haven't used the tent in anger yet but have put it up in the back garden. The instructions are useless !! (the worst German translation I have ever seen), but it was all very obvious and took us about 20 minutes to erect. We still have a thin glass fibre poll which we have no idea where it goes but doesn't seem to be amiss. We are both tall and it is great that we can still stand upright right to the edges of the tent. One downside is there is no entrance for electrical hook up so the lead has to go through a doorway, also Skandika do not do carpets for their tents but luckily our existing Vango carpet fits well. The biggest bonus for us is it's potential strength compared to a standard loop pole tent, very important when touring the Outer Hebridies and 55-60MPH winds. Looking forward to putting it through the tests in Scotland next year.

Easy to put up, well designed, good ventilation. Withstood gusts well. Heavy and bulky to transport. Best to remove the poles and carry seperately.

So easy to put up! Would recommend a trial run at putting it up before going away. We did and it made all the difference when we were on holiday and trying to put it up in strong highland winds! Even with the weather it only took us 30 mins to put up. Although its a 6 man tent I think it would be a bit squashed in. There is 4 of us and by time we got everything in, it was a bit cramped but comfortable enough for a week away.

Mooie tent, goede kwaliteit. Makkelijk op te zetten, al ben je er wel even mee bezig ivm het aantal stokken en de grootte van de tent.

Can not find better value for the money.

2 tent poles broke in sunny france on our second trip. I contacted seller, no response. Avoid.We spent 12 days in the rain and strong winds. It is perfect for a family with young children. There are not really 3 bedrooms, as the dividers are really flimsy. Our children (all under 9) were quite happy with that though! I would not recommend it with teenagers.Pro's: 1. The tent was easy to mount and dismount, it took us half an hour the first time with 2 of us and a bit of help from our 4-year old. 2. it is very high, so you can easily stand in it. 3. The package is very reasonable.Con's: 1. In rainy places, a bigger porch would have been nice, or some outside covered space. All wet shoes and boots were now in the main "living area". 2. More pockets would have been nice. I am now looking for a storage solution for the next trips. 3. The side "rooms" are not big enough for 2 people (even children), so it is at best a 5 man tent if the 2 sleeping in the side rooms are children, not an 8-man tent.

Well made large tent but NOT suitable for strong winds! I would recommend buying extra guy ropes in case you need them if it gets a bit blowy. Oh and not quite enough pegs supplied so get some of these too....

My goal for this tent was a spacious family tent that would be suitable for all weather camping and last us for years to come. Having camped with it all summer – in good, bad and terrible weather – I can attest to it staying dry inside in heavy rain, and upright in 50mph (80kph) strong winds. Inside we were safe snug and had plenty of room in the spacious living area. Being a dome tent (taller, stronger & more robust) it is slightly harder to put up than simple tunnel tents, but the instructions are good and once used to it, it only takes 15 minutes on your own. Stracomoda!!! Veramente bellissima, spaziosa e si riesce a stare sempre dritti in piedi

El envío llegó el día acordado, la tienda muy cómoda e intuitiva de montar con un poco de paciencia y dos personas, somos 5, 2 adultos y 3 niños y el espacio de la habitación es suficiente, la única pega es la forma que tiene que hace perder espacio y eso dificulta ajustar los colchones, es general muy bien

Waren mit dem Zelt 4 Tage auf einem Festival, es Regnete an einem Tag recht ordentlich und alles war dicht. Was ich gut finde ist, dass das Innenzelt mit den Schlafkabinen sozusagen einen doppelten Boden haben was auch von unten her noch etwas isoliert. Im Wohnbereich vorn hatten wir eine Picknickdecke was zum einen viel vom Schmutz und Dreck aufgefangen hat was natürlich nach dem Campen die Innenraumreinigung, da ja kein Besen zur Hand war, sehr erleichtert hat.Der Aufbau war durch die farbliche Unterscheidung der Stangen recht einfach. Auch für nicht so Camping erprobte Menschen.Da ich das Zelt für 3 Personen gekauft habe war der Platz ausreichend in den Kabinen, jedoch sind sie für Campingbetten zu kurz was ich aber nicht schlimm fand. Wie da jedoch 6 Personen schlafen sollen ist mir ein Rätsel. Die mittlere Kabine ist für 2 Personen groß genug für 2 Personen, bei den Seitenkabinen kommt halt gleich wieder die Schräge ins spiel wo ich mir dann persönlich eingeengt vorkommen würde, aber manche stört das vielleicht nicht und wie gesagt für 3 Personen super und bequemer Platz vorhanden.Der Vorraum bieten ausreichend Platz für 4 große Campingstühle und einen Tisch, bei mehr Stühlen wird's dann schon wieder recht eng.5 Sterne gabs für den leichten und schnellen Aufbau, Für meine Zwecke ausreichend Platz und schöner Vorraum. Würde ich auf alle Fälle wieder kaufen.

Tenda impressionante per la capienza e la definizione dei particolari! Ogni presa d’aria è dotata di zanzariera e il pavimento è cucito per cui se non si lasciano “porte” aperte è impossibile che entrino insetti... testata anche sotto la pioggia, non entra acqua nemmeno dalle cerniere in quanto rivestite di materiale impermeabile... veloce e intuitiva da montare, i colori dei pali della struttura aiutano molto... per quanto riguarda il numero delle persone, ci stanno 2 materassi matrimoniali (togliendo un divisore)... abbiamo lasciato un divisore in modo da avere una zona guardaroba!Quasi tutti gli ospiti del campeggio ci hanno chiesto di vederla! Meravigliosa!

me ha gustado mucho, esta muy bien diseñada la tienda, los espacios, las ventana y puertas, mosquiteras, es muy versatil por si llueve o hace calor.. es facil de montar.
