Has anyone noticed the extreme amount of D mangos is in this? It literally tells you to take 17,480 mg the first day and that is compared to 1,000mg

I don't know the answer. I only know this product did not work well for me, and I ended up seeing a doctor for the infection.

Can a teenager use this?

There isn't any reason not to give this to a teen. It is D-mannose (a simple sugar found in cranberries and blueberries ) and concentrated cranberry juice a perfect duo for knocking out the basic UTI. It can be used, although I've not used it for this, as a daily preventative for UTIs. I'm not a doctor, just a woman who has used D-mannose and cranberry for 20 years.

Spread it out. Day 1, 1 TBS 4 times, Day 2, 1 TBS twice a day, etc. After the 3 day regiment I take a tsp. a day until I'm sure I'm over the problem.
