Main issues indicated were that it was big for a Bridge camera, and that the strap is fixed and so can't clip the case to a belt etc. The case is big. When I put the camera in, there is a reasonable space above it. However there is a padded divider there and I find my wife's compact camera fits in there nicely, so it kills 2 birds with one stone. If not carrying the second camera I am not fazed by the size of the case. Some people may be, but I'm happy with it. The strap is usually absolutely fine. I don't think I would want to clip the case to my belt (especially given its size) but occasionally I carry the case with the hand strap on the top and the length of the shoulder strap hanging down is a minor irritation. Usually I can hold the strap in the same hand as the case and there's no issue then But I don't think I would be bothered to unclip a shoulder strap for the few occasions I carry it by the hand strap (usually its getting in and out of vehicles etc). If I were to never use the shoulder strap I would cut it off. I know I could adapt it to a clipped strap with a little sewing and some spare bits gleaned from the myriad of spare shoulder straps I've got from lots of cabin/soft sided travel/sports bags. I like the case and am glad I purchased it. Lots of space for spare batteries, cards, and accessories Review: Brilliant bag, recommended. - I have a fujifilm s8200 and this bag is the perfect size for it. There is plenty of space inside and out to keep spare batteries and cards or whatever you would like. The bag is of very good quality in my opinion and gives great protection to your camera. There is also a foam flap inside which will keep the camera strap off of the lcd screen and protect it from scratches! If I had any criticism on the bag it would be that the shoulder strap cannot be removed which is a bit annoying when you are using the belt strap to carry it but it is not really an issue. Also if you had a DSLR which in most cases would be bigger than the s8200 I feel this bag would be too small as it seems just the perfect size for the s8200 bridge camera. Other people have commented that the bag open "backwards" or awkwardly but to me the way the bag opens makes perfects sense. When the camera is on your shoulder or belt and you need to remove your camera the flap opens away from your body instead of in towards you. This gives in my opinion easier access to your camera and to the interior pockets without the open flap getting in the way! I would definitely recommend this camera bag!

Nice bag. Fits my Fuji S8200 perfectly.
Great little bag. Good value. Does the job nicely. Has room for my camera and an additional wide angle lens, spare batteries, memory cards etc. The flap that covers the screen is a nice touch as it prevents the strap of the camera resting on the screen when it's in the bag. The belt loop is rendered somewhat useless by the shoulder strap not being detachable. I wouldn't attach it to my belt, only for the bag's shoulder strap to be dangling down ready to snag on something and then rip it from my waist (the belt loop closes with velcro), but I'm quite happy carrying it with the shoulder strap or by the little grab handle on top.

Great case
Nice case fits Fujifilm HS50EXR perfectly and would probably be good for digital slrs with short zoom fitted. One nice feature is that it has an internal pad attached by Velcro which can be positioned to protect the screen on the back of the camera, (useful on cameras without the swivelling screen of the HS50EXR),which is great design feature. Plenty of storage for filters, spare battery and memory cards. Seems very well made, so would overall recommend it very highly.

Sturdy design, good size, shame about awkward layout
I cannot fault this piece on its sturdy well-padded construction or ample size (for a Fujifilm FinePix HS30EXR), but the layout design leaves a lot to be desired. The zip on the main compartment flap is "back to front" (the flap is hinged at the front and zipped around the sides and back) making it awkward to open - which is not apparent unless you examine the pictures closely. I would also prefer if there were more side pockets (there are two, one on the front and the other oddly mounted in the top flap covering the main compartment) for accessories like spare batteries, memory cards, filters, lens cleaning brush and cloth and perhaps a miniature tripod. There is also a padded hinged flap fitted halfway down in the main compartment, the purpose of which I cannot figure out, unless perhaps to separate a smaller camera from an extra lens.

Love it. I've been all over the world with this, and it's so handy to keep my camera protected to a certain degree. I still make sure I pack my case with the camera in the case well protected and surrounded by soft clothing. There's room for batteries, extra SD card, and the USB cable for hooking up the camera to my laptop when I'm away.

great quality
I bought this for my Fuji HS50EXR which as bridge cameras go, is physically one of the largest on the market, almost SLR sized. This case is a perfect fit for this camera & the various pockets are great for housing the instruction manual, leads & several memory cards too. The quality of the case is excellent & value is exceptional for the price. Highly recommended

Genrally ok, however
One niggle about the front flap which is held down by a sturdy clip: it does not give access to the main pouch, holding the camera; you have to unzip to get to the camera, which action isn't quick. The front flap does not need such a clip to hold it down; velcro or nothing at all would suffice.
