Curtain Track Cord Tensioner, White

It looks great, good value for your money, easy to fit, and good quality

Perfect replacement.

This saved our curtains when the old one ( it was very old ) finally gave up. Same fitting holes and everything as the original and easy to fit.

When the tensioner on my front room curtains snapped in two due to years of direct sunlight I thought it would be impossible to buy a replacement and had visions of needing to purchase a complete runner, cord, track and tensioner at great expense. Most shops do not seem to sell the individual parts but I found this Swish tensioner via Amazon and bought it at a lower price than the one high street shop that did carry them as a stock item. The tensioner arrived quickly via the free delivery option and seems to be an ideal replacement for my broken one although its construction is perhaps very slightly less robust than the original which was a different make anyway. Easy to fit as I had taken the curtain track down prior to decorating but could have been done even with the curtains hung. Only time will tell how it copes with exposure to sunlight. Hopefully it might be made from a plastic that can cope with the sun.

Fitted easily and works well

I was very pleased with this item. It appears to be a genuine component and was supplied with plugs and screws which was very helpful. In my opinion, good value for money and robust. Although I've fitted these before, I always find that I have to take great care to get them in exactly the right position. Not too slack and not too tight. It's really worth taking the time to fiddle around and get this right.

Product quality is good but seller needs to include basic instructions to release “childproof “ mechanism to avoid having to record curtains - simple enough but not obvious without any indication

just moved home, and started re-decorating. ordered these to go with the posh new curtain tracks. only to find, after ordering that the new tracks came with them already ........ hey ho, we might be able to use them elsewhere. good product though, and will be useful ...... eventually
