Good bit of kit, I haven't owned a jig saw before but it was very easy and intuitive to use. I paired it with the bosch blades and so far I'm getting some very clean and straight cuts.The price is great.

I recently purchased the Einhell Power X-Change 18V Cordless Jigsaw for a home flooring project, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with its performance and quality. One standout feature is the universal blade fitting paired with a quick-release mechanism—swapping out blades was a breeze, and finding additional ones hasn’t been an issue at all, which is a huge plus for versatility.The cordless design was a game-changer for me. As I already own an Einhell Power X-Change battery pack (courtesy of my Einhell reciprocating saw) I thought it would be sensible to buy the same brand of jigsaw too. I owned a Bosch jigsaw before I got this, but that was ruined by a plumber we called in to repair the boiler, who managed to fill up my power tool box with water when he drained the radiator circuit. I discovered the problem some weeks later when it was too late to rescue it.None of the Einhell Power X-Change tools come with a power pack supplied, but the battery can be used in all the compatible tools, so it makes sense to me.I have used the jigsaw to cut up some firewood, trim some garden stakes and also to cut a hole in an aluminium and foam uPVC door to fit a cat flap. That was hard work, but it made a clean cut and the cat flap fitted perfectly.It is simple enough to use, and you will be up and running in no time if you have used a jigsaw previously. If you are new to these tools take a moment or two to read the instructions,and you should find the whole thing pretty straightforward.The blade is changed by using a spring loaded chuck, so no screws to loosen and tighten. You can adjust the pendulum action of the blade to deal with different materials.There is a chip guard (this is in clear plastic so check the 'bag of bits' so you don't throw it away by accident), which is useful to prevent chipping on materials like melamine.There is also an automatic dust blower, to keep the cutting path clear (but it also means you do need to wear a face mask to keep the dust out of your nose and mouth). It also has a parallel guide attachment to keep your edges straight.There is also a neat little light at the front, which comes on when you pull the trigger, so you can see your lines more easily.Overall I think it is a great tool. It vibrates a bit more then my Bosch, but the weight is good and the controls are easy to use. The speed is adjusted by the pressure on the trigger, too, so you can make a very slow starter cut where required.For the money I think it's unbeatable.

This one replaced one I've had for 5 years thats been well used and abused.

The exceptional quality I’ve come to expect and enjoy from Einhell. It feels solid and acts very much like my extremely expensive Milwaukee jigsaw, only the Einhell has a superior feel to the grip is marginally shorter than the older one and once you get used to the trigger, it’s dead simple to use too with a nice bright led light guiding you. This is a premium quality tool in its functionality and ease of use. I’ve found this manufacturer to be of extremely high quality, hence why I’m replacing older equipment that I can’t get spares for with these little Red Devils. Try them, you won’t be disappointed.

For the price, I think this is very good, hence the 5 star rating. It has more power at low speed than I would have expected. Among other things, I've cut about half a meter of 5mm grade 5 titanium without any issues. There are a few minor issues which might have otherwise lowered the rating to 4 stars, but I think are acceptable based on the price compared to the competition:* The roller mechanism guiding the blade has a bit of play, which translates into noticeable cut angle deviations in thicker materials if you accidentally apply side pressure. It's easy enough to avoid for 90 degrees cuts, but angled cuts (at 45 degrees in particular) are a bit difficult to get right.* The bottom of the soleplate seems to be some sort of coarse glass-reinforced plastic. I'm not convinced that's the best material, because it got scuffed quite quickly and metal chips tend to get embedded in it and can then scratch softer materials. They can be removed easy enough with a brush or a dry rag. A non-reinforced plastic with a lower friction coefficient might have been a better choice, maybe something like nylon or polyethylene.* The safety interlock which requires you to press a side button before being able to press the speed control / on / off switch is perhaps too stiff. I actually got a small callus on my thumb because of it after using the saw pretty heavily over one weekend.

A very nice and well-designed jigsaw, it is good value for the money but it is just not as powerful as I would like, for many users it will be more than enough but I'm used to more professional tools, cheers

Amateur Convaincu depuis longtemps par Einhell et les sans fils de la marque, cette scie est conforme à mes attentes, précise et bon maintien de la lame (investissez dans des lames de qualité!), semelle protégée… bref fait mieux qu’une certaine marque allemande verte selon moi

En la caja viene la sierra de calar, el libro de instrucciones, la garantía, una pieza tubular para acomplar un aspirador y así evitar que al realizar los cortes el serrín se reparta por toda la habitación y una pieza metálica con medición que se acopla y nos permite cortar recto. Hay que comprar aparte la batería y las hojas, que por cierto se colocan y extraen muy facilmente. Ya la he probado y funciona perfecta. Nunca había utilizado una sierra de este tipo y me ha sorprendido gratamente, con fuerza y fácil de manejar.

Mit dem 4-stufigen Pendelhub kommt man extrem zügig voran, oder sägt auf Stufe 0 sehr präzise und sauber.* **Werkzeugloser Wechsel:** Der Sägeblattwechsel (T-Schaft) funktioniert schnell, unkompliziert und hält das Blatt bombenfest.* **Ergonomie & Sicht:** Die Säge liegt super in der Hand. Das LED-Licht leuchtet den Schnittbereich gut aus, und der Absaugadapter hält den Arbeitsplatz sauber.* **Zubehör:** Der mitgelieferte Parallelanschlag ist ein echter Pluspunkt für gerade Schnitte.**Ein kleiner Praxistipp:**Am besten liegt die Säge mit einem **2,5 Ah oder 4,0 Ah Akku** in der Hand.
