Just received it. Will have a better idea with more use, but beautifully made, easy to use and an excellent weight and size for bicycle work. Calibrated by Bruno in March of 2013. Just wanted those who are seeking Nm for 1/4 drive bicycle work that the calibration certificate notes that it is calibrated from the bottom: Calibrated for 30 inch pounds to 150 inch pounds {Calibration done at 20% (30 in-lb), 60% (90 in-lb) and 100% (150 in-lb) of full load}. Can really see that the accuracy readings run well below stated average error value of 4.0%+- for both clockwise and counterclockwise torque. Highest was around 2+% at the 150 in-lb setting. Well below 1.0% at 30 in-lb. All detailed in Certificate of calibration. This roughly translates as a usable range of 3.5Nm to 15.3 Nm. Won't take care of some of the finer adjustments (mostly screws) below 4Nm but will take care of most of the calibration for those things done by a DIY. Another wrench for the heavier duty things like handlebars, seat posts, disc brake rotors, chain wheel cranks etc.. Nice package and well made. Went to J H Williams for 1/4 inch drive metric hex bit sockets (another subsidiary of Snap-on). Great price. Good instructions and online support and live chat. Should be good for 5000 clicks and/or several years.

This is a very high quality torque wrench. I needed a torque wrench in this size range for torquing smaller bolts and oil pan bolts on my car. I had used cheaper made in China wrenches in the past, and they were worthless. The wrench is expensive, but it is worth every penny when you consider that you are using a precision instrument for precise torque specifications. The wrench is easy to set and clicks cleanly. I also like that it comes in a nice plastic case with a calibration certification.

The ratchet selector, which allows you to tighten clockwise counterclockwise, or in a lock position is a three position ratchet. It is very flimsy and easily and often inadvertently activated when working in tight or difficult to see areas. I called CDI Customer Service to ask them if they manufactured a different ratchet mechanism on a different WRENCH. The agent said that they do not. I have decided to live with it, since the torque handle, which twists and allows you to set, various ports is not so bad. A good 1/4 inch torque wrench in inch pounds is very difficult to find. I will say this ranch is better than the $18 harbor freight, and I do have faith in its ability to torque as advertised.

I bought this wrench to use when working on our dirt bikes. Many bolts on motorcycles have low torque values and thus need a more gentle touch than a 3/8-Inch torque wrench. The 20-150 range covered all but a couple of bolts (mostly plastic bodywork and axle bolts) on our dirt bikes. The construction is sturdy with a nice clickover head. The wrench features inch pounds and newton-meters which is perfect for motorcycles, since many torque values are displayed in newton-meters. The price may seem a bit high to some (its really about mid-range), but if you're worried enough to bother buying a torque wrench, why buy a cheapo one?

I really liked the quality and feel of this unit. It works great to torque the bolts on my ktm and the nm as well as the inch lbs are both useful. They say that the beam wrenches are pretty accurate to but I don't always get to line up directly over the wrench to read it properly so this unit works much better for me.be sure and back the setting back to around zero each time your done with these clicker wrenches or they will be inaccurate in no time. I basically ruined two other models not realizing this, bottom line, your going to love this tool!
