Cured by using a bit of material tape in compartment first with ends placed on top of battery when in. Then just pull ends of tape and pops out for replacement. Manufacturers used to fit a tape in old days to radio battery compartments. Cannot beat functionality very good. Someone sat on my mobility scooter outside public toilets ! Think they needed the facility's when the alarm went off ! Ha ha I could hear it. and reset itself. Does give a warning beep beep leave me alone before full blast. It the 3rd one i brought but not fault of alarms. Dropped, Got it too wet, corrosion of remotes.
