18000 ( thousand ) Maybe on a dead hang . These strapes , chokers if you use them that way are not designed for a choke hook up . The loop end of the strape is way , way to large . Much of the strap could be sewed righet up to the eyelet making the strap much stronger , leaving just enough to choke the other end through eyelet or using a shackle the propper way . If you slip the strap ( that large eye ) over the load how would you get the strap out once once the load is landed . These straps could be very handy for yard work , but don't get up on it with a 3 ton comalong for a sreious pull . I'm keeping mine . As a power house high rigger not good enough for the job (Indusry ) , but good enough for around the house . Hope this helps .

No way they have 18,800 pound Capacity 9+ ton???. One lasted for one small pick before failing. the other was close behind. They are not reinforced well at all. I should have read the description better. "Supper Sturdy" do not get these.
