There is a great selection of Vallejo 17ml paints in this box set which are perfect for all your modelling requirements. I've always found Vallejo paints- these included - easy to use, with good coverage and a long shelve life. I would highly recommend this set to the seasoned modeler, a beginner or if you have a project that needs painting.

Used these paints for this entire model except the wooden frame. I am incredibly grateful for them. I never understood the idea of pre-mixed paints but if you have something that will need touch ups for weeks on end, this is a worth while purchase. They’re dense when it comes to the pigment and most definitely worth the money.

I think that thay are very good for air brush no problem good value.

Excellent in every way. Fabulous quality, very good for detailed work and easy to use. We use them for painting dolls house miniatures and for buildings on the garden railway.

A good selection of colours for painting model scenery. The paints cover well and are easy to apply. I like the little bottles that enable me to squeeze out small quantities. Will I buy these again? Yes!

A great alternate colour set. This set of colours is particularly useful for filling out your existing colour sets (so no black/white/skin for instance), there are at least 3 shades of off-white. Enabling you to carry out a convincing modelling theme more easily. Being rather dense in pigment, I do recommend the addition of 1 or 2 mixing balls. And the tip can bleed paint into the cap even when screwed down so I recommended right side up storage. Will need definite dilution for airbrush applications, but Vallejo already have a range for that. This boxed set can make you next project easier and morphs well with other Vallejo boxed sets.

Dieses Farbset habe ich mir bestellt, um für eine Modellbahn-Anlage z.B. auch Alterungen an Gebäuden etc. durchzuführen. Die Farbe ist deckend und mit Verdünner auch airbrush-tauglich. Die Deckkraft ist aus meiner Sicht sehr gut. Es dauert auch nicht ewig, bis die Farbe trocken ist. Hier kann recht schnell weiter verarbeitet werden. Die Auswahl der Farben ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Alle wesentlichen Töne sind vorhanden. Durch verschiedene Misch-Versuche habe ich etliche Nuancen hinbekommen können. Dieser Kauf von Vallejo-Farben war für der Erste, aber mit Sicherheit nicht der Letzte! Ich hatte bereits auch schon andere Hersteller probiert und bin bislang von Vallejo am meisten überzeugt!

April 2025 A good range of earthtone colors, and orange, to add to my collection of the high quality AV paints. 3 of the 16 bottles in this set were the old 17ml bottles with white tops (Ivory, Medium Grey, Ochre Brown). The rest were the newer branded 18ml bottles with black tops. All 16 paint colors received match the webpage. Both the AZ photo of the bottles and text listing of the colors are correct. FYI I received the old boring green box, not the sexy new box with photos and info, as shown on this Amazon page. Still a great purchase.
