A: No mine does not , just the basic handset ., you can get the one with an answering machine .

**Q: My phone won't make or receive a call, any suggestions I'm no technical wizard**
A: Check both ends off the line cord are connected and secure. Check the battery in the phones are not flat. Make sure the plug is pushed in socket

**Q: How to transfer a call from one handset to another**
A: Just pick up the second phone and put the other on receiver
