LAVA 3.7 Quart Enameled Cast Iron Braiser: Multipurpose Stylish Orange Round Dutch Oven Pot with Glossy Sand-Colored Three Layers of Enamel Coated Interior and Trendy Lid

I recently bought an induction stove which made my old cast aluminum 6 quart cooking pot non-functional. I had used that pot for a ton of different stuff so wanted something similar that would work with the new stove. This pot does so and more (both stove top capable and oven capable). The enamel is very nice and seems thick albeit it hasn't chipped so who knows. Being cast iron, it isn't light, but it also holds heat well and is nicer than the previous cast aluminum pot I was using. The enamel cleans up well too. It comes with the little rubber feet to separate the lid from the bottom, which I kept and use for storage. For whatever reason, this blue exterior/white interior was about 2/3 the price of the other color combos when I purchased it. As of this writing, it appears that the red exterior/white interior is now 2/3 the price. Point being, I wasn't particular on the color of my cookware, so if you aren't either, check the prices of the other colors as you might be able to save a decent bit of cash.

I really love the color of this pan . The size is perfect for what I needed. It makes the meal at dinner look amazing . Pan is very sturdy and looks like it will last a long time. I plan on purchasing more for gifts around Christmas !

Love everything about these braisers. Bought both sizes..smaller is perfect for cooking meals for up to 4 people and the larger 6-8. Both are high quality have excellent heat retention and easy to clean. I use em for pot roasts and skillet style meals so far. Highly recommend!

I did a great deal of shopping on the web and Amazons web site. This pan was not the cheapest and priced way under the expensive ones. It has straight sides not rounded which gives you more cooking area. It came well packed and as one person said, it's very heavy. I fried chicken in it and found the pan did a great job, cleaned up nicely and is now waiting for my next use. The coating did not chip crack or peel... so far. But if is poorly made it would have chipped or peeled while cooking fried chicken at a high heat.

Package was delivered questionable, but opened it up, looked great. Took pics for the coworkers and went to wash it.. sponge hung up on the chip on the pic, treated this like a new baby.. was not expecting that. Overall, lid is snug and flat, color is great, should cook well for sure.

This works great for braising. I also use it as a pan to roast chickens by first warming it up on the range before placing it in the oven.

Item was shipped without lid and pan was chipped the bottom of pan was not smooth. Very poor condition and quality

Great size and great utility - easy to move around on the cooktop or in and out of the oven. Heats evenly, and is well made. I like the enameled inside - makes cleanup pretty easy. Great price as of 12/2023 as well!

The color is gorgeous. Compared to other brands at a similar and even higher price, Lava is very well made by far. Their products are made in Turkey.
