Beautiful doll, but what kind of 'Princess Power' does this really represent?
As a Guardian reader, I should be allergic to Barbie, despite the reference to 'Princess Power'. She'll have to work hard to exert any particular powers in that floor length ball-gown after all! However, I am not a completely cynical feminist spoil-sport, and this is a sumptuous doll. The packaging indicates that it is suitable for age 3+. The doll bears an uncanny resemblance to the Duchess of Cambridge, with her dark flowing locks, and boasts a flashing light feature. It would make an ideal gift for a young girl, but I'd hope parents and care-givers would also have a nice box of LEGO handy to offer a choice of toys. The LEGO Juniors 10674: Pony Farm, for example, offers a beautifully made construction toy at less than the price of a single Barbie doll.

I bought this doll for my God-daughter as it shares my name and is spelt the same too! Sure she's going to love it as its not your typical Barbie doll.

DON'T BOTHER
I bought this thinking it was a GENUINE BARBIE! No such luck, it's absolute rubbish, don't bother.The legs do not move independantly as it has a battery/speaker unit in the bottom. AND you cannot dress it in Barbie clothes! Cannot return as I gave it tomyn Granddaughter.forher Birthdqay.VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED

Very disappointed
Also thought it was a genuine Barbie. All doll can do is stand and sit. Head came off and pull had been removed from battery indicating it had been used. Can't dress in other Barbie clothes.

Sehr schöne Puppe. Meine Tochter hatte sich sehr gefreut. Ist die gleiche Puppe von den Spielzeug Läden aber für einen sehr günstigen Preis.

Très belle Barbie, les couleur de la robe son encore plus belle en vrai, ma fille est ravi, elle ne la quitte plus. De plus, très très bon rapport qualité prix.

Bellissima barbie, originale Mattel, arriva già funzionate, dotata delle 3 pile a bottone(AG13). Si sentirà il suono di un bacio premendo la farfalla posizionata sul corpetto che è dipinto direttamente sulla barbie (ricordo che nel film barbie super principessa la barbie acquista i poteri magici proprio dopo essere stata baciata da una farfalla). Sotto il gonnellone c'è una gonna di plastica rigida che arriva più o meno alle ginocchia e a questa gonna sono incollate le gambe che non possono essere mosse e né si possono piegare le ginocchia, però la barbie può essere messa a sedere. Ho fatto delle foto per rendere più chiaro il tutto. Penso che sia ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo, spero che questa recensione vi sia utile !
