Does the writing start to rub off when hit with rain?

There are two types of marker pen, depending which pen you use will effect the outcome. Some are designed to withstand weather, solvent based. Some are designed to rub off with ease. We use Rainbow Chalk Markers, they are the largest UK manufacturer, they sell both types and they also sell cleaning fluid. They sell the coatings for the board also so if you want a perfect black finish again - this is the best way to go. It dries in minutes in summer. Most pubs and restaurants use them.

Does this A frame chalk board come ready made, or does it need assembling

It comes assembled and ready to use. Mines still good after 7 years use.

What are the measurements of the actual chalk board itself

I'd say this is about the size of A4 maybe a little bigger
