I've been searching for a sunscreen that doesn't feel like a typical American sunscreen (thick, greasy/gritty, that awful smell) and am so happy that I found this. It rubs in quickly and doesn't leave a residue feel on the skin, and doesn't have that telltale odor that so many sunscreens have. It feels like putting on a light body lotion, or like rubbing aloe gel into your skin. Still waiting for the face formula to arrive, will review when I've tried it.

I love this product. Works fantastic to protect against sunburn and although it’s a lotion it’s not greasy. Also smells wonderful, like the ocean.

I needed reef friendly sunscreen for a boat charter. After searching Amazon and local store, I settled on Dune, SPF 30.This sunscreen worked extremely well. The texture was smooth and creamy. It applied evenly and kept me protected, even after an hour of snorkeling. I noticed, that when I got out of the water, my skin did not feel dry. It was also very easy to remove.

Strange texture for a sunscreen but it grew on me. Gel like consistency and strange color but it did absorb quickly, wasn’t greasy, and did block the sun. Would probably buy again

No wonder it’s award-winning! We all know that not every product works the same for everyone, but this lotion/SPF truly delivers on everything I want and need. If there’s any drawback at all, it would only be the price—but honestly, it’s worth it.What I love most is how quickly it melts into the skin, absorbing without a trace. It leaves just the faintest, pleasant scent and feels as light as water. The texture reminds me of water gels like Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost line, but this one absorbs even more completely, leaving no shine—just a smooth, delicate finish.

I have to use a lot of sunscreen frequently and don't like loading myself up with chemicals but the mineral type gets all over and has the white cast. I really could not continue using that because of the mess and ruining clothes/my car interior. This Dune stuff is completely clear and dries fully. It's so impossible to detect you can't even tell you have sunscreen on. The smell does not smell like disgusting coconut or other sunscreen type smell. It smells fine and goes away after awhile. I am unsure how waterproof it is (they say 40 min), when I wash it off after I get home, I can't tell if I'm washing anything off at all. I reapply a couple times throughout the day and it seems to work pretty well. It is different than any other sunscreen product I've ever used, in a good way. It says made in USA too

Was looking for a non greasy sunscreen that was reef friendly and was not disappointed! Goes on clear, no greasy, easy to apply, and lasted longer than I was expecting. I bought the aloe in this brand but because of this sunscreen I never had to use it! Yes it is a little pricey but I have no regrets since I didn’t burn once on a month long trip in the Caribbean!

This stuff is absolutely great. I'm a little darker so never really cared for sunscreen too much, especially since most of it is pasty and leaves white casts. As I get older I try to use sunscreen more often for wrinkles and what not. My wife put me on to Gel facial sunscreen and this inspired me to try and find Gel body sunscreen.I found this as a possible solution and bought a bottle for a Bali trip, and this worked amazingly. Absorbs quick, goes on clear, smells good, and keeps me protected. I didn't have any issues related to burning, just make sure to apply based on directions, and a little goes a long way. I used it most days for about a week, although I didn't always apply throughout the day and I still have about half a bottle left!It is more expensive, but I honestly think it's worth it. This is my new and only sunscreen I'll be buying. Just as a note, if you reapply and are wet/sweaty it will take time to absorb and it does leave a slight weight cast. Not really an issue too much for me, but I did notice it when we reapplied and I was sweaty. It still MUCh better than most other sunscreens where you are just painting yourself since it won't absorb at all.I would highly recommend! Maybe the price will go down a bit as more companies catch on - put still very worth the price.
