I purchased a 3m respirator from Lowes years ago and it was hard to find refills for the filter. I'm not positive how well these do for chemicals or 'VOCs' but they did a great job of filtering concrete and saw dust. Plus, they were breathable and fit perfectly into my 3m respirator mask.
