This sub was paired with the Ambeo Mini soundbar which was easy to do and adjust with the app. The base compliments the soundbar very well and there was no need to increase the bass volume too much since the sub provides ample bass. the overall effect is excellent.

Bought this item once before the Super Bowl and had an issue with popping/crackling at slightly higher than normal volumes. Figured it was a one-off issue considering the price so returned it and ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, once the replacement came in, I noticed the same issue but was considering putting up with it since it'd be used at normal volume 90% of the time. However, I recently noticed there was no bass when watching tv and I realized it's no longer connecting to the soundbar so it's essentially useless. I read reviews where this same issue happened with other buyers so I should have taken their advice and not purchased this but I didn't. If you're reading this and are on the fence, I'd look elsewhere.

I found setup with my AMBEO Plus super easy via bluetooth. The room calibration was easy and resulted in a nice, balanced sound.

I gave it a shot with a COAX cable and it sounded good. Not as good as a Klipsch powered sub. The benefit would have been a wireless connection allowing me to put the sub in a place near the couch. The Klipsch is in a cabinet. I ended up returning. Sennheiser, fire the product manager for not having this thing work with your most expensive soundbar.

The sub worked just fine for what it was. I ended up sending it back because our space was just a bit too small I believe. Both music and movies sounded better when we were only using our ambeo plus soundbar and the small built in subs. So I would just make sure to try this sub in person if you don't have a super large space. We were seated probably 20 feet away from the system which was the entire width of the room. Even turning the volume down all the way, it still overpowered in places - especially music. I really wish there was an equalizer available in the app as it was just a few frequencies I could not tame.

Awesome adds more fuller sound quality with bass and it’s rocking nicely in my house

I've now spent over a dozen hours back and forth with Sennheiser sport over this wireless subwoofer in combination with the Ambeo soundbar and it is complete garbage. Relentless connection issues between the soundbar and the subwoofer and this device does not work if your home uses any type of Wi-Fi connection whatsoever. I'm told by customer support that this is my fault because I have a Wi-Fi system in my home which is absolutely insane. I have other high-end audio equipment like a Klipsch home theater audio system in my basement theater setup and I'm very familiar with proper setup and the system is completely and compatible with any type of normal home use. Customer support is incompetent, and please do not put yourself through buying this product.

Get it. You will not be disappointed.

This unit provides a real rumble and is a great complement to my Anbeo Soundbar Plus. Easy to set up with the app, and can even switched off in the app-although I haven't found a reason to do so as yet.

Suena genial por debajo de los 0 db, pero cuando se le exije más o incluso en subsonicos en un parámetro mast bajo al 0db, realmente se compromete su rendimiento y decepciona. Pues truena el cono constantemente, incluso vibra la caja, mete ruido en vibraciones altas. En películas de streaming y música, tienes que estar revisando constantemente que no reviente el cono, hay que estar atento a bajar al mínimo el volumen del subwoofer en la app de Sennheiser. Su conexión es impecable a la App de Sennheiser y a la barra Plus, también. Sin embargo, siempre lo mantengo en bajo rendimiento para que no truene. Lo cual me ha decepcionado y no lo recomiendo como complemento a la barra. Pues no se le puede sacar mucho juego, siempre al mínimo. Menos pensar en meter hasta 4 subwoofer, como Sennheiser da opción.

J’ai la barre de son Ambeo plus et je suis satisfait de la barre de son mais le Ambeo Sub ne fait pas le travail pour le prix demandé. Mon vieux sub Enegy E-S8 payer 200$ il y a 15 ans performe bien au delà du Ambeo Sub a 919$ avec taxe.
