The build quality is excellent, and they feel very solid and well built
Superb fan, highly impressed. After completing a new pc build, I ended up purchasing 2 of these to put onto a Noctua NHU-12 CPU cooler. The build quality is excellent, and they feel very solid and well built. The fan cable is of perfect length, giving enough flex to get to the motherboard connector, but not too much so you are having to try and tuck it away. The cable is also nicely covered to protect the wires and make it more aesthetically pleasing.Performance wise it is excellent, and it is very hard to notice it making any sound until you hit at least 80% speed, which to be honest in my setup at least is very rare and only under extreme stress when overclocking. Normally they are running anywhere from 30%-70% and my CPU (Core i7 6770k has never exceeded 46 degrees celsius even when clocked to 4.6 Ghz). The only thing I must highlight here is that to ensure the fans are running optimally and quiet, is to ensure that in your BIOS you make sure that the fans are set to run in PWM mode not DC. When I first installed them and my pc booted they span up very fast and made a lot of noise, but once I had adjusted them to PWM the issue was resolved.Overall very happy with my purchase, yes they aren't cheap but they are well built, quiet, and cool very effectively with a reassuring 6 year warranty.

A brand that has built it's popularity about making good quality, long lasting and well built fans
Expensive definitely but you mostly get what you pay for. A brand that has built it's popularity about making good quality, long lasting and well built fans. Additionally a lot of care goes into the packaging of the item, the item comes in a nice box unlike many cheaper options around. This fan also comes with 4 anti vibration rubber corners which is a great addition especially when the fan can spin up to 2k rpm, in a cheapish case the vibration could end up being louder than the fan so the rubber corners are a nice plus.Unfortunately my fans only span down to a minimum 40% (roughly 800rpm) compared to the advertised 450rpm, at 40% the fan isn't silent but I'd still consider it quiet. I suspect the reason is more down to the way I control the fan and/or my motherboard so I haven't marked the fan down for this.At 100% this fan is obviously loud but you should expect that, these are marketed as industrial fans so performance is obviously preferred over silence or other fancy features like rgb. Despite the noise at max percentage the fan does shift a lot of air which is exactly what you'd hope for and makes this a great fan where high airflow and cooling is important.I bought these fans to sit in the front of my pc case (corsair 500r) and to cool my hard drives which would regularly get to temperatures I wasn't comfortable leaving them at with the default Corsair fans. Although it isn't summer these fans already keep all my hard drives cooler than the stock fans I replaced while at minimum speed, these also can spin faster than the fans I replaced so I suspect they will do a great job when the hot summer days come by.Overall I'm happy with the purchase, I don't love the price but I do realise you have to be prepared to pay a premium to get a premium product, I can't compare these to that many other high end fans as I haven't used many, but with a 6 year warranty as well as water and dust protection I expect these fans to last a long time. If they do then I can excuse the price.

Great static pressure fans, the best?
Used 2 of these to replace stock SP120 fans on Corsair H80i GT. Results are brilliant and very very quiet.Under load fans now run at around 900rpm PWM compared to the the stock fans at around 1300rpm PWM. In turbo mode via ASUS Fan Expert 3, fans can hardly be heard at standard mode virtually inaudible!CPU temperatures are consistent with those provided with the stock fans and stable at circa 28 degrees.Changed the standard brown Noctua anti-vibration mounts for Red Noctua Chromax mounts - these look pretty good in a black and red themed HAF-X build.Fans are easy to fit and come with good quality braided 4 pin cables, these are much longer than the Corsair cables. Allowing them to be neatly routed through to the back of the case - before there was a mass of un-braided shiny black cable behind the Radiator/Fan assembly in amongst the back of the I/0 and VRM shrouding.May be expensive, but well worth the money!

Top quality by Noctua... as always
I bought one of these to use an an exhaust fan in my gaming build. I'm running a mildly overclocked i5 6600K sat underneath a Noctua NH-D14. I was getting pretty good temps already, but thought that having a better exhaust fan directly behind the huge heat sink would act as an extra pull fan. The draught from the back of the PC is noticeably stronger, yet the fan seems no louder than the previous one. When running Prime95 stress tests, my temps seem to have dropped by about 1 to 2° C, which I am very pleased with. As others have said, if you crank the RPM up, they do get quite loud, which is one reason I went for the 2000 model over the 3000. Quality, as always, is top drawer. May end up buying a couple more to stick on the D14 itself if I do a bigger overclock. Highly recommended.

Serious cooling performance with Noctua reliability
I bought the Noctua NF‑F12 iPPC‑2000 PWM for a system that needed strong, reliable airflow, and it absolutely delivers. The build quality is outstanding — the industrialPPC frame feels solid, and the IP67 rating means it’s protected from dust and moisture. Perfect for homelabs, servers, or any 24/7 setup.Cooling performance is excellent. At 2000 RPM it moves a ton of air with high static pressure, making it ideal for radiators or restrictive cases. Yes, it gets loud at full speed, but with PWM control it stays quiet during normal use and only ramps up when needed. If you want a fan that prioritises performance, durability, and long‑term reliability, this is one of the best 120mm options available.

Excalent for cooling high powered PC's
Bought the fans to replaced a cheep set j had bought a month beforehand.Installation was easy and quick and made even better if you get the splitter along side the fans as it allows you to plug 2 fans in to one fan header. They run almost silently and keep my pc a cool temp.I have 2 of these fans and one fan that came with the case and my pc sits advrage 65°c with games set to ultra settings.Best pc fans I have bought.Deffanatly recamend for gamers and and for people who use pc for vidio editing. And any pc for working environments /quiot spaces. The fans are very affective and quiot.

These fans are amazing. I have one cooling my Ryzen 7 1700X
These fans are amazing. I have one cooling my Ryzen 7 1700X, and it does an excellent job. The fans construction is of a very high quality you can feel it as soon as you hold the fan for the first time. The fan is quiet up to around 1200 RPM, after this the noise increases quickly, but that's to be expected of an industrial fan. The price is expensive but you get what you pay for. Recommended.

Very good as expected.
These are great fans.Far better than the stock stuff.Don't buy these fans if you expect silence, these are higher rate static pressure fans and the higher the static pressure the lower the fan will be.Remember these are also industrial fans meant for servers and noisy environments anyway.Look at the noctua redux 1700rpm if you want quiet with the same air flow but less static pressure

Gute Leistung.
Verhältnismäßig leise und gute Leistung, Preis meiner Meinung nach dennoch zu hoch.

Pricey But Worth It!
These fans are not cheap but Noctua has built a name for a reason. They work great and are very quiet at low RPM. I really like the industrial version because you don't have to rock the ugly brown colour.Recommended!
